👍👍 Behind the C.L. Simon Recreation Center, there is a free recycling center. There is no attendant. People just drive behind the building and recycle cardboard, plastic and glass in huge bins. This totally free recycling center is an amazing, eco-friendly addition to Nacogdoches, Texas!

👍 A.K.A. Sandy Creek Park - has a nice walking trail that is wheelchair accessible, picnic tables and BBQ grills, cool splash area, restrooms, playground, pavilion, shade trees and open area for running around. Just wish there was a dog park.
