Canyonlands By Night & Day

👍👍 We started with a delicious all you can eat BBQ cowboy food. After dinner we boarded our boat for the cruise down the river. It started with the guide pointing out some images on the canyon walls. The guide was funny and knowledgeable. Once it got dark the light show started along with a recording....

Moab Rock Shop
Rock shop
🫤 Cool place with some interesting rocks and fossils. I bought some “dinosaur bone” pieces, but a geologist told me they were just cool rocks and had no evidence of being bone at all. There is another rock shop with some better deals but I highly recommend stopping here even to just look around.

👍 The good: This is a long hiking trail that is half in the shade with several stream crossings. Great for hot desert hiking. And good trail for dogs. 8.4 miles round trip and 1317 feet elevation gain. Fantastic arch at the end.
The bad: Parking is tough since the parking lot fills up. We had to park...

👍👍 About a mile hike. Beginning is a little interesting as you have to scale some rocks. I had nikes on and they skid right off the rocks. This was about 200 feet. Once you gwy past that you are on a soft sandy trail with a very mild incline. Very doable for most people. Bring beer towels and music. Wi...

👍👍 In Moab for canyoneering, climbing and mtn biking for thanksgiving. We decided to hire guides to take us on separate climbs. My guide Ellie was fantastic! We climbed Terma rated at 5.8+. It was great! Ellie was very patient and encouraging. I highly recommend Moab Cliffs and Canyons for guides...

Hell's Revenge 4x4 Trail

👍👍 Awesome trail! Took our four runner up it, 3 inch lift, basically stock. Most parts of the trail were easy to traverse, we didn't make it up hells gate, maybe next time! Ended up joining up with a bunch of guys from Wisconsin, sorry friendly, definitely more fun being with a group, and much safer!

Courthouse Wash Rock Art

👍👍 Great place to see Petroglyphs and Pictographs. It’s an easy walk up to the info board, but from there lost the trail and went straight up towards the cliff which required a little scrambling. Found the trail on the way down - from info board it goes left around big boulder.
