👍👍 This was a fantastic trailhead. We hiked to Kroenke Lake and that was a great day hike. Took us about 4 hours to get there with frequent stops for food and picture taking. Had a nice picnic on the lake and got back in under two hours. I highly recommend boots and bug repellent.

👍👍 One of the best gem near Colorado Springs. It was about 700ft gain and sight is truly worth it. We saw beautiful monarch butterflies on our way. The lake is so peaceful to enjoy, definitely a good hike for family with little champs. The color of the water was amazing with blue dragon flies hovering...
