Morro Rock
Tourist attraction
πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a beautiful landmark. Easy access to the rock, plenty of parking, it can be really busy at times but the beach is so nice, breaker bars to see lots of crashing waves, dog friendly with leash. They have some mini sand dunes to play in. It's a great day trip or even a weekend

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is such a hidden gem. The people running the museum are so warm and friendly and happy to share local history, and the exhibits outside are fantastic (there's one about knots, one about how block and tackle works)! Highly recommend visiting and supporting this local treasure :)

Sea Otter Viewing Location
Tourist attraction
πŸ‘πŸ‘ Totally worth the stop to stretch your legs on a trip and walk along the rock a bit. We saw a good number of otters - more than off the pier - but I’m sure it’s different everyday. We’ve been twice, both between 5-7pm in July.
