Murfreesboro Axe
Recreation center
👍👍 Had a great time with my family at Murfreesboro Axe. Staff is super helpful as they spot form issues and coach throughout the hour. My wife went from barely sticking the axe to hitting 5 bullseye in a row! Deceptively large with lots of private lanes you can reserve.

Greenway Searcy Trail Head
Hiking area
👍 A fantastic greenway! A great place to walk and bike ride. However, it’s probably best to avoid visiting directly after a severe thunderstorm, because there is some flooding (depicted in some of the photos I included)

👍👍 I really enjoyed my day there. They were so nice and even invited me to eat with them. I had to write a review because someone wanted to bring race into the reviews a couple below this one. Everything is not about the color of your skin. I was very welcomed by everyone.

👍👍 I haven't been here in a couple years, when the city started working on the dam. I was a little apprehensive about the way it would look, and this is part of the reason my family and I waited so long to revisit. My worries were in vain, the place looks better than ever! I'm glad we waited until autu...

Murfree Spring Wetlands
City park
👍 This is a gem right in the middle of Murfreesboro. I wish I had found this years ago. The wildlife is varied and usually easy to see. Beavers, otters, herons, turtles, frogs, raccoons, waterfowl and other birds depending on season. Take my advice and go at sunrise, you won't regret it.

👍👍 Lots of fun!! Take a rolling cooler with water and snacks! Moms....take a chair with you if you are not going to dig for diamonds! There's nowhere to sit!
We took our own shovels and buckets. And rented a shifter from them $25, but you get $20 back when you return it.
Take sunblock, hat's, sunglass...
