👍👍 Allen park is excellent. You can walk or run around the track they have there at any time of day. They have benches to rest on or sit on as you like. You can come to watch a ball game or soccer game or you can come and see our Home Town Heroes like my Dad Peter J Roberts.

👍👍 Pool is nice and well maintained. Kid pool sectioned off in the back is nice as well. Bathrooms are kept pretty clean including the changing rooms. Plenty of chairs and lounge chairs however the pool can get packed pretty quickly and you loose the chance to grab a chair. The water is not overly c...

👍👍 I remember when this was a farm owned by very nice people. Now its a quiet park with lovely sunsets. Plenty a room to just sit and have a coffee at dusk. It's not that far away from a Starbucks for that matter. I keep forgetting to take pics when I go to these places I hope this one is enough.

Haypath Road Park

👍 Beautiful park for the most part. The equipment is outdated and falling apart. The wood chips around the base of the playground need to be replenished badly. Since the shooting, which occurred on the 6th, the town has since installed a motorized gate. The park, which used to be open for the most p...

Battle Row County Park
Park
👍 Stayed there 4 months, which is unusual because it is run by the county as are most campgrounds on Long Island. The majority of them only will allow you to stay there two weeks and then you have to move somewhere else butt I was able to stay there the entire length of time I was working on the islan...

West Hills Nature Preserve
Park
👍👍 Pretty decent and definitely better than The larger West Hills Park. It's very hilly In spots so be prepared to get a good thigh workout. My dog and I did 3.5 miles and covered the majority of the trails without having to backtrack too much. See photos

Manetto Hills Park

👍👍 This place sucks big time. Stay away from here. Lots of bears, lions and tigers roaming around freely in there. Beware, go ride somewhere else safe and fun. Oh, and lots of poison ivy, and snakes...

Pine Ridge Conservation Area image

Pine Ridge Conservation Area
Nature preserve
👍 Pine Ridge has many paths most of them sandy but not necessarily if you go off the beaten path of which there are many. The narrowest paths are not on All Trails current map. Entrance is off a large parking lot. There's also a paved quarter mile path/track on the north side. It's on the other side o...
