😠 Apparently the people of Poway drink this water, so children can't "play or touch the water"... But the birds can swim in it and actively poop and eat in it. With this logic, the water is not safe to drink in Poway. Kids LOVE water and sand, it's natural, so it's pretty sad that they can't touch it...

👍 Beautiful day to mountain bike ride up and down Van Dam peak. In February all the wildflowers are starting to bloom displaying beautiful colors. February through April are the best months up here before everything turns brown.

👍👍 Cool little pond surrounded by backyards of the neighborhood next to it. There are trails that go to the nearby park and the other direction has trials that take you all the way to Christmas hill as well as Narnia. If you like to walk long distances.. this trail can you all the way to the waterfalls...
