👍👍 Park is open at night. This is a good spot to view the Milky Way in the summer, with a nice wide view to the south. You get some lights from Cedar City to the west on long exposures, but the skies are very dark. This is a nice viewpoint without a lot of trees near the parking lot or overlook, so it...

👍👍 This is one of my favorite state parks to stay at!! Sites have electric and water hookups and the park area is best when the wading pool is open. Great trails for hiking and very close to the town of Caliente for picking up supplies, groceries or simply eating at any of the small town restaurants.

Snow Canyon Scenic Overlook
Scenic spot
👍👍 The Snow Canyon Scenic Overlook is absolutely worth the stop. It’s only about 15 minutes away from downtown St. George. There is no hiking, you drive right up to the overlook and enjoy. There is a really short dirt road off the main road to get to the overlook. It was beautiful during sunset.
