👍 This “beach” is tiny but good enough for a day trip. Hot days are best because the water is very cold. A lot of the people looked like locals. But also a lot of people of color on this day: black, Latino and Asian —so one extra star given for being a PoC friendly space.

👍👍 Fun place to hang out with kids, swim, boat, fish, and relax. I suggest wearing some slip on's for lake, as its pretty rocky and they get into your sandals. Can bring a grill and cookout, too. Plenty of parking and room for social distancing.
