👍👍 Wow! So worth getting a permit to visit. The permit is free and takes just a few minutes to apply and get approved. This beach was not as populated so it allowed for a quiet relaxing visit. We saw baby sea turtles and a dolphin in the distance.

👍👍 4 active and retired military. You have to show military ID. $5 parking. Access to the beach is awesome, and The pavilions and restrooms and cleaning stations are very good. 👍👍 Be sure that you go on line and get your permit. Nice walk out to the beach. Very few people when we went. Careful parking. Parking is in the sand. One car got stuck and needed assistance getting out.
