👍👍 What a beautiful trail. Very well maintained. Has some elevation to it but not too bad. Trail is mowed in areas. Take a map that is provided at beginning of trail. Lots of points of interest along the way. Large trees are tagged for easy identification. Lots of wild flowers.

👍 We did all the trails today and only came across 3 trees across the trail. A previous review mentioned stinging nettles so long pants were worn and worthy. We also took a picture of the map at the parking area for reference. Beautiful preserve.

👍👍 Nice bike path through the prairie part of Lake of the Woods. One big hill in the middle, the rest mostly level. The west ends of the path is a dead end, so you have to go back the same way, or continue on a country road and take a narrow bridge over the interstate to get back to Mahomet. The east e...

👍 We wanted to see the Arch but didn't want to stay near any cities. This park is about an hour from St Louis. We self checked in and found our site ok. The layout is cool. Each loop is on a hill top with valleys between. Lots of woods, trees for shade and some have a water view. Site 24 is ma...

👍👍 Was impressed by this little park. Nice playground, lake, and pavilion in the day use area. Trail in parts was a nice single track, and in others, it was probably an old logging road. But, a nice area to stretch the legs
