Best places: Historical place museums in Shell Beach, United States

👍👍 Beautiful old lighthouse & grounds, great scenery. You can access via the shuttle when it's running or water by kayak and the beach. Self led or docent tours available.

👍 Small but informative. $5 entry and on the weekends there are tours. During the week the Adobe is closed but you can look through the window.

👍👍 A cool history spot located in the Carrizo Plain they got a few antique pieces of farm equipment and a vault restroom. Thats it. Enjoy.

👍 I found this place by chance driving around, while my kiddos were sleeping. We had lunch in the car, and saw a great blue heron, some dogs running around with their owners, and cattle grazing on a hill. Very nice spot. We visited on a Wednesday around noon, and the buildings we're all closed up.
