👍👍 Several hilly, mostly flat trails to choose from ranging from 1 mi - 3.5 mi. Trails are clean and in good order. Along the way, there is a visitor center with rich history about the area, including stuffed animals. Handicap accessible and clean bathrooms. Friendly staff!

👍 Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem of a park. The man-made Reservoir boat tour is delightful and the guides very knowledgeable. The trails are well marked and a very nice place to take the kids for a hike. Pleasantly surprised.

Park
👍👍 This is a green park with walking/biking trails close by, and an active community of park users, some with dogs. There are multiple fields for recreation, including baseball, and a track too. If head into the trails, keep an eye out for the teddy bears in the trees! I counted two (are there more?)....

👍 Went to Six Mile on 10/16/2021 to get in some good MTB. Very good XC/Blue MTB trails throughout. Met a handful of hikers on the ride, not too many. Many cool riders. Be aware of oncoming traffic. Still some bridge paths that are out due to last months storms. So you may have some jumps or detours to...

🫤 Nice place, my daughter LOVES all the horses. Some of the staff on a recent visit seemed to have a bug up their ass and kept criticizing how my daughter was petting a horse that was in his/her pen. My daughter is 10 and loves every animal she sees, not like she was hurting the horse. I was the be...

👍 I'd definitely recommend this trail to everyone. One of the easiest trails I ever did. Good serene views with lakes in between where you can fish. It is also one of the safest trails as it has wooden railing in places where it could be slippery.

👍 Hawk view parking is the easiest access to the waterfalls. If you like hiking on a very rocky trail for a long long walk then you can try going to washington valley park's parking spot.

😐 This is still a relatively new park in the Monmouth County system. It's already a nice place for a walk in the woods, but it needs some fixing up. They will either have to preserve or demolish some of the buildings around the main parking lot that do not look so great at this time. My hope is that t...

😐 Not for kids! I’m an experienced hiker and this trail is no joke. I read the reviews and thought “I can just be a man and get thru it.” I was wrong, I went 2 days after it rained a bit so the trail was full of watery mud. I forced myself thru it, wearing regular sneakers every step after being a hal...
