ππ This was awesome! Learning a ton about the mines that you see dotting I-70 was incredible, and our tour guide Michael was great! Robyn showed us some awesome gold panning tips and we brought home a whole bunch of gold flake, peacock pyrite ore, a copper nugget and an amethyst from a short time panni...

Grizzly Peak Trailhead
Hiking area
ππ Awesome trail highly recommend. We went to three left portion and absolutely loved it. Gets very cold and windy, bring jacket, sun screen, hat, gloves, not kidding. I came here twice and both times it was 20-30 degrees cooler than everywhere else.

Echo Reservoir Viewing Area
Tourist attraction
ππ Absolutely gorgeous views. Easy for access to a better view, a good place to stop and get out for a minute. Parking was OK the parking lot was not the best maintained, but it was easy and accessible. If you have mobility issues itβs probably not the best place to go.

Dog park
ππ This is my new favorite dog park! There is so much space where my dog can roam freely. This park is well secured, fully fenced. There are hiking trails as well. They got a cute small creek, and my dog enjoyed that! Can't wait to come back!

ππ Such a Beautiful Day and a Beautiful Hike! I didn't want to post too many photos and give it all away, but go hike it! Not too difficult at all even in the middle of winter. Stay on the packed trail and you'll be in good shape. I would recommend micro spikes to make your life easier. I was fortu...
