👍👍 It seems like the longer I live here, the better trails I seem to discover. This true GEM is tucked away right in the heart of the cumberland area. Literally wedged between high rises and highways, you would have never knew it was here until you took the time to look. The lush greenery, and rolling...

👍👍 Great paved trail - perfect for after it has rained. The parking lot is quite small, maybe 10-15 spots but it wasn’t crowded on a Saturday around 10:30am. The trail was pretty empty when I went, I only passed 7 or 8 people over the span of an hour. There’s lots of trees and shade and very dog-friend...

👍👍 Silver Comet Trail is roughly 68 Miles long pedestrian and biker trail extending from Smyrna, Georgia a suburb of Atlanta to the Georgia-Alabama border. It was originally a railway that was converted few decades ago to a paved trail. Hence it is relatively flat with no steep ups or downs. In suburbs...

👍👍 We had a nice time hiking on this trail on a Saturday morning. By 10:30am, all of the more southern Chattahoochee National Recreation Area parking lots were already full, so we kept traveling north and ended up at the Powers Island Trail. There was plenty of parking, and we realized they had a place...

😐 Does NOT take you to Bamboo Forest. Use west palisades trail. Never actually found Bamboo Forest myself as the trails are not marked and the maps don't indicate where the Bamboo Forest is on it. Still was a beautiful hike though. Whitewater Trailhead currently closed, limited street parking
