👍👍 Maili is such a fun hike to experience sunset for. The hike is generally short, but elevation is challenging in some spots. Depending on fitness level, the hike is very doable. Bring some bug spray because it is bad! Parking is generous but don’t forget to lock your car!

👍👍 Fabulous views of the valley and ocean. Looking west to the sunset over the ocean. Afternoon hikes have plenty of sun exposure and a few spots with shade. The path can be narrow at times so be patient for groups coming your way. Stay hydrated, it's quite a bit of work on the way up. There are no mar...

👍👍 Went on a sunset hike up this mountain. It is rated as a moderate hike and it really is! Thankfully it is not too long; just over a mile. We saw mountain goats on the way up. The sunset was truly spectacular! Would highly recommend it. Please bring a flashlight for obvious reasons!

👍👍 This review is for Katey. I feel very fortunate that she picked up the phone when I called them, since they are technically closed and only sell in the farmer's market on Saturdays. She invited me over to the farm and helped me pick out so much amazing produce. She was kind and patient and walked m...

😠 Unfortunately the locals are not very open to visitors @ this park apparently, so go with caution if you do. The setting is nice, but my wife was attacked by a dog that broke away from one of the locals pop up camp areas and chased her, then bit her ankle during our visit. The local family never of...

👍👍 The Sand is nice beautiful but gets very hot. There are some houseless folks over here but never a problem. It is a Small park and limited parking but nice. The beach can be steep and the back swell strong, which is not uncommon here in Hawaii. It had lifeguards and a bath house. Depending on the w...

👍👍 Looking for closure. I lost my baby here April 24,2023. Beside that this is a peaceful place. No public bathrooms or showers. You might come across the families that live there on the beach but their cool. You might even come across a bunch of little dogs, just stop & tell'um get home.

👍 Great hike! It took me about 4 hours of actual movement to complete, about 5 1/2 including lunch and picture stops of which there were many. I used about 3 1/2 litres of water, so ensure you bring enough for yourself. Unfortunately, due to the elevation the peak is often packed with clouds but there...

👍 Nice beach with lots of small tide pools to search for hermit crabs. Lots of parking and space, wasn't crowded at all. It was nice to enjoy the sand between our toes. Not the best for swimming though since there's rocks in the water.
