👍👍 I just visited the Onalaska Library and it made me so grateful for the La Crosse Main st Library. I've got children that frequent this library and the children's area staff are way more than anyone could ask for. Very hospitable and warm. Friendly. It's a beautiful library with many amenities.

😐 The place is nice, historical by nature, cool in summer. The students studying there are almost totally silent, and studious. 😠 Staff is infested with rude "Karens". Extremely snooty and cold. A bunch of signs and notices about what is expected of visitors lent a general sense that I was not wanted there at all. The other 3 libraries in the winding rivers system that I have been to were far warmer and personable.
