Came here around 9 pm just a little after sunset at the end of June and managed to get a view of a teal lake contrasted with the green covered mountains set against the magnificent, flaming sunset.
Truly a symphony of colors...

👍👍 One of the best hikes within 1.5hr drive from Seattle. The trails are wide, well maintained, and quite gentle- excellent for people with some knee issues like myself. If you don’t have a pass for parking, you can pay onsite. It takes about 4hr hike round trip.
