👍👍 This time of year, October, is a great time to go and observe the birds who are migrating through on their way to the South. The confluence of the two rivers makes it a wonderful resting and feeding area. This area is so well-maintained and it was a beautiful day! We saw beautiful white swans and a...

👍 My family hosts picnics here annually and it always turns out well. Lots of picnic tables and shade. There is a nearby lake that you can rent canoes, kayaks, and peddle boats from. Plenty of restrooms available. Family friendly. Just wish there were a playground of some sort for young children.

😠 Illi f****ng nois Forest preserves. Over a thousand acres and they limit the public's use to a fn mud trail that totals less than one measly acre. Only the crooked FP employees can take wood, harvest mushrooms, collect sheds, walk around the woods and creek, but let them catch a tax paying cit...

Forked Creek Preserve - Forsythe Woods
Nature preserve
👍 Lovely little area near the park district. The trails are fairly easy, but some rough parts. There are two loops and a handful of off-trails for the adventurous. If you're so lucky to see the bluebells in bloom here in early spring, it is a sight to see!
