Owen's Place Park
Park
ππ Wonderful park for kids and families! There are plenty of sticks and rocks to play with. It's so fun to slide the hill and slide with a piece of cardboard. Pet friendly.

The Narrows Reserve Nature Center
Nature preserve
π The Narrows is a nice spot with a beautiful path along the water. Thereβs a few options as far as trails. It hasnβt changed much over the past decade as I relied on my past experience here to navigate the River loop.
My only suggestion is the trails arenβt marked well/often. I helped a few people o...

Jacoby Road Canoe Launch
Park
ππ Quiet area and great place to launch your canoe or kayak. I also explored the surrounding nature reserve. Passed a few centuries old trees and fields upon fields of wildflowers. Be sure to stop once you get to the private property sign (you can't miss it, the end of the "path" stops being mowed righ...

Sara Lee Arnovitz Nature Preserve
Nature preserve

However, I visited it again after a few months, and finally, completed the trail loop! I love that the trail involves some sloping areas to add fun to a hike. I was the only one when...

It was still cold when I went, but I did see a lot of birds and some ducks. I imagine in warmer weather you will see all kinds of wildlife. Lots of interest...

Scout Dog Park
Park
ππ The unique part of this dog park wasn't obvious at first. The second time I went, my doggo and I discovered a forested hiking trail in the back. Great for shade and some privacy from most of the dogs - still completely enclosed of course. Highly recommend! As you can see, Lion had a wonderful time.

Old Town Reserve Park
Park
ππ Great access to the bike trail, tire pump and bike repair stand at parking lot. Two miles north on the bike trail is an old railroad iron bridge over the Little Miami River. Interesting historical sign at parking lot says this is the birthplace of Tecumseh.
