Best places: Lakes in Harris County

Sizable reservoir, Houston's municipal water supply, open to the public for boating & fishing.

👍 The path is wide, paved, and surprisingly level. I had no problem walking it with multiple sclerosis. Only con is that the maps talk about the “full loop” being a certain distance but there aren’t any smaller loops or cut-through.

👍👍 Feels weird to give a star rating to a lake, but here goes: the lake is pretty, and wet. Record wetness. There are water features and a path. Very lake-like.

😐 There's a few places you can bank fish from, and there's a few docks but they are over-grown jungles to walk through. Didn't feel safe walking on then since you couldn't even see the dock thru the brush. Boat ramp seems super steep. Lots of gators. Supposedly good size Bass here but we didn't get a...
