👍👍 Nice beach on Lake Superior. Easily accessible the beach is also connected with the outlet of the river. The water is generally shallow, though can be sometimes rough if there is a strong north wind. It’s a great place to stop and hang out!

👍👍 Nice they have shelters here you can sit out of the sun and eat lunch, while basking in the views of the lake and pier. Lake Michigan is gorgeous here, and it’s worth it to take a stroll after lunch to the pier and walk it, or to the concession area and bathrooms just to the south.
