👍 I enjoyed Merrill Creek Reservoir. My kayak was too small to go out on the Reservoir. However, I went out on the Trails instead. The Trails were very scenic. I also enjoyed the Visitor Center and the trails around the farmhouse ruins.

Boating, swimming & fishing are popular at this big lake, along with hiking & cross-country skiing.

👍👍 Incredible peaceful place to hike. We walked around the entire lake and enjoyed the clean nature. It is winter and it felt warm with the sun, and many waterways were frozen beautifully. Nice place to get a brake in silence and reflect on the beauty of nature and existence.

🫤 It would be a nice place to relax if Spanish music wasn't blasting from all directions. No one can get any peace there. Probably not even those who think that everyone around them share their taste in music. Unfortunately, there are no regulations in place that would prohibit loud music at the lake....

👍👍 The greatest local lake around. The beach is wonderful. They even have a life guard. There are walking trails, sitting area, bar-b-q area, play ground, and more. Then you have the best quaint little town of Lakehurst to window shop, get ice cream, pizza, etc. I love this town!

😐 Nice place for morning / evening walk. Surrounded by residential area. You are allowed to use Kayak if you are Club member. Nice clean and there are places for public sitting. Downside: mostly covered under private property otherwise its good.
