The staff couldn’t be nicer, it was a wonderful experience considering it’s very close to work. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is hungry. Fantastic prices and even better service. Oh and the cookie aisle isn’t too bad as well, can’t complain.

CAUTION for vegetarians: I went to get food and I noticed there was only one set of tongues for all the meat and fries there. I asked if they cross contaminate the fries with meat and thankfully she was truthful and told me they do. I appreciated the worker’s honesty. I’m not even sure if that’s allowed but it should be made known that the prepared-food is NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY.

You can get almost everything from your daily need list. They are the home of President's Choice brand & their products are cheaper here. In addition bakery items are best here and pretty low-priced.

Really nice store and conveniently located. The selection is pretty ample, but there’s still some products like organic and health foods that are not available or out of stock. The employee at the cash (Noemi) was very unpleasant to deal with and rude to customers both in front of me and to me when it was my turn

I went in for the first time in a while, it took me a minute to find the carts. They added some "Asset Protection" measures, such as gates to enter the store, and increase security presence (If they sold the food at affordable prices people wouldn't need to steal). I was confused by the gates (which is partially my fault) but not one of the THREE "security" guards at the door thought to help me out, when I was clearly struggling. They were too busy watching TikTok or something (very secure). You walk in, they make you feel like you're a criminal, and they charge you ridiculous prices. I only go here because it's close, but I would rather pay for a taxi to another store than shop here again. Edit: Forgot to mention, the rest of the staff is good and they work hard for very little, a measly 10% discount.

I don’t normally review grocery stores or even places for that matter but this was the most bizarre experience I’ve had trying to go to the washroom. At first as I was shopping I initially asked a cashier if I could use the washroom and he told me I could not. As I proceeded to the checkout with my items he told me that I actually could ask someone at the customer service booth for a key to access the washroom facility. So as I made my way to the customer service section I asked a woman behind the counter and was immediately met with a very aggressive attitude. She went about saying something like “FIRST OFF I’m not even on my shift yet and also these washroom are NOT for customers!” I was left speechless not at the refusal but the way this was communicated to me. Funny enough a coworker of hers who was watching this go down ended up escorting me to the washroom regardless. Kudos to her for understanding how unnecessary her coworker was acting towards the simple inquiry.

Clean and well organized store. Prices are reaching a criminal limit but it’s like that everywhere. You’d think a major corporation would do their part and run more sales. Security is a joke. Always on their phones and never paying attention. Maybe their salaries would be better put to use on the community

The grocery store customer service has gone significantly gone down the past few weeks. From the manager and supervisors all the way down. They are even worst than the cashiers. Returns are a hassle , everyone looks unhappy to be there and that the customer is an enemy. If you don’t want returns put that in your policy. Everyone looks unfriendly and it is hard to reconcile that considering this is one of the most expensive places to buy groceries in ottawa

A great place to shop quick groceries but do not have much discounts available like Walmart, Freshco etc. One tip is to look for items with 50% off sticker, that is put on the day of expiry. The best time to get these 50% off items is either early in morning when the store opens at 7 am or just before the store closes at 10 pm.

Prices are more expensive than elsewhere and their produce is often in poorer condition than in other places. Luckily for them, this Loblaws exists in a food desert so there aren't other options within walking distance. The service here also sucks. I get the job is grueling sometimes—I had the same job years back. But on a calm Sunday where I'm the only person in line, the cashier just throws my bags at me and waits for me to bag every item while making no eye contact and not talking at all. I guess this is the new level of service we can expect because this isn't the first time. Next time, I'll just go through the self checkout. Better yet, I just won't come back.

This Loblaws is great because it is open later than other stores. It used to be 24h iirc but now closes at 10pm most nights. You can get everything you need at this location. There’s a pharmacy, and you can buy beer. There is also free parking for all customers.

I visited this store today. They don’t have any customer washrooms which you can find in all groceries stores. They had earlier given access to customer which I had seen before. So I asked one of the employee. He bluntly refused to give access. I requested after some time to another employee also they also refused. The customer service was really bad. They are one of the biggest chain of grocery store in Canada and they even can’t have good facilities for their paying customers.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the sale items after the cashout area needs to re think their layout. I missed out on a few good sales that were not posted in the regular isle. So I'm supposed to pay for items then see that there is a better deal after I've already paid? I would have to go back in the line and wait then get a refund from the cashier?

This is my favorite grocery store. Its got a cultured variety of foods and ingredients, and the self check-outs are wayyy less annoying than Metro's. The layout of the store always feels coherent and logical, and overall ive never had problems at this Loblaws.

I buy groceries here quite frequently as I live in the downtown area thus fairly close. Shelves are usually stocked adequately, and staff are pretty friendly. The past few years stores have been a bit hard in terms of pricing and some inventory, so I do find myself finding cheaper prices elsewhere, but overall I like this place!

Small but very reliable and productive. Usually opens even through black outs and holidays. And yes it sells beer. Lots and lots of students discounts

Extremely overpriced items throughout the entire store, when compared to other grocery stores, every single item is more expensive, for no reason. Customer service is basically non-existant, if you do have an issue, be ready to wait a while. Food pickup is atrocious, there are always missing items from my orders, often times they will say something is not in stock, I’ll then go into the store and find it myself. They have record profits year over year, and we get a progressively worse service at a more expensive price.

As with many stores, the prices at any grocery or retail store is sky high, although they DO have a fantastic rewards program that sometimes throws 30,000 PC Optimum points onto my card for spending x amount of money in a week. It does not have to be all in one purchase, which is extremely rewarding if you use the PC Optimum APP in order to get free items, points, and excellent savings all year round! The store itself is maintained to a high standard and is always in order and stocked every time I have been here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even the security guards at the front of the store are pleasant, and have no problem answering any question you may have! In general, I've had pleasant experiences at all Loblaws locations I have visited! Keep up the great work, and also give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back!

It's not bad, they're pricey compared to others tho! They do have good selection of beverages!

I come here only for the parking and it’s adequate. Been parking here for a few months and have not had any problems. Only issue is that they don’t offer tap payment so you always need to have cash on hand.

Everything is fresh, we did our first big purchase there and was easy, there are variety of products and is very big. Many people told us that this place is very expensive, but we think for a pair like us, not really, but if you have a very big family, probably. We loved the quality and was fair for us.

Grocery with a great selection of goods. I like the deals. The blue ribbon President's Choice burgers taste so good. Love the sausages as well. Lots of parking in the basement and very close to the University.
