I ordered a bottle of garden spray online from this location, because I don't have a car so I thought it'd be easier to have them deliver it to me. I paid 10 bucks to have it delivered from within the same city. A breakable bottle filled with liquid was placed into an envelope and sent to me. By the time it got to me, the bottle was cracked open, and the envelope was waterlogged and dripping. Now, I assume that Canada Post had a part to play in this and likely threw it around like a beanbag as they always do, however, I repeat, a breakable bottle of liquid was mailed in an envelope.... why. For 10 bucks local shipping cost, you'd think they could afford a small box with some packing material, so that things have a chance of making it to their destination. I emailed them photos and asked for a refund and got no reply. I called customer care and they offered me store credit (lol) or told me I could go into the location and get a refund. If it was easy for me to get to a location, I wouldn't have shopped online and paid for delivery. I have to pay money to get to the store to get my money back, when I didn't shop in the store to begin with. I shopped online. Is it because I'm returning the item? Do they really want a soggy envelope full of yellow liquid? Like, what is the point of making me bring it to the store? I really don't get it. Anyway, terrible experience, and from now on I'll stick to Amazon. Enjoy these photos of my soggy $25 envelope. 🤡🤡

I definitely do not recommend this store for tires or any auto parts! My recent experience was far from satisfactory. I went there with the hope of getting some assistance in choosing winter tires for my car, but what I encountered was beyond disappointing. The individual assigned to the Auto department had absolutely no idea what he was doing. When I asked about prices, models, and installation, it was like speaking to a brick wall. He was completely clueless and utterly unhelpful. It baffles me why someone so inept was placed in a role where knowledge and guidance are essential. When I sought his advice on selecting the right winter tire, he pointed at a screen with an overwhelming 12 different models without offering any guidance or recommendations. It was as if I was expected to make a random choice without any assistance. The only good thing was that I realized that I would not waste my time again at that store!

We had a WONDERFUL experience today with the staff at party city part of this store! They were helpful, kind and made my 3 year old and I giggle while they filled our helium balloons!! We left happy and keen to come back for future party help ❤️

Canadian Tire Coventry rd. Worst experienceS ever. 2 days on a row. Bought a 800$+ tires, I'm not sure about canadian tires but other companies will help me put it in a trolly and help me bring it outside. But they didn't even offered me help. They put it by the counter, pointed me the trolly and because the auto shop was closed I had to bring it all the way to the counter and outside. Next day I went to buy anti freezer coolant. There was a price tag on top of 15% off. , I paid the full price 24.99 but it was supposed to be 20.90. Anyways long story short. They didn't even honor the price. The guy told me "someone just tried to pulled a fast one on us". Remove the 15% off and said if I wasnt happy I could return it to go to the cashier. Also he mention he was starting his lunch and they called him to do the price check. Anyways very unprofessional and I would never go to that store. I spend lot of money and I had 2 bad experiences 2 days in a row

Terrible products and policies. As an American visitor to Canada, I thought this was some sort of legitimate local hardware store. However, if you want to buy a tool, you'll have to find an employee to unlock the case and walk you up to the register. Then the tool snaps in half as you take it out of the package, before you even leave the parking lot. Then they refuse to do a refund, only store credit for more of their low-quality garbage. Will never shop at any Canadian Tire again.

I tried to return a bar stool which I purchased at the CTC store on Coventry road in Ottawa, Ontario. The welding holding the base broke and my visitor sitting on it could have been serious hurt. Attempts to inform the manager that this was an unsafe product was unsuccessful. (on their own site, this product is rated a one star out of five). I was given the run around from one person to another but, I insisted that the manager call me back. The manager of 'Hardware' did call me that same afternoon. That person, whose name I think was Claude, should get an award for being able to deflect, skate around the issue and being a complete company man. He will probably get the employee of the month award for "not taking back any returns". This was and still is a safety issue Claude. Your store is still selling the product you incompetent fool. I will dispose of the two stools which I purchased from your store and rest assured that my next purchase will not be from your or any other CTC locations. Enjoy your fame manager Claude.

Lots of parking, reasonable prices, helpful staff. You will typically be approached by someone marketing the CT credit card. Please note that should you accept to apply for this and you will have a hard credit check done, eve if the marketer says you won't.

Automotive employee, tall with a nice hair cut, his customer service is abysmal. I bought a set of rims from this location a few weeks ago and he was the employee serving me. He hardly makes eye contact and he couldn't look more bored to be at work and certainly doesn't accommodate the customer. As someone who works in customer service, sure I get bored at work sometimes but I don't show the customer that. I went in today to buy a new set of 4 tires for my car, this location had four in stock. I had a scrap set of 4 in my car I needed to get rid of and I called a different location and asked if they take scrap tires and they said they did. I went to this store to pick up the four tires and asked where I could scrap my other four, and without looking up at me or explaining any further he just said they don't take scrap tires. I walked out and called the Gloucester store who also had 4 left in stock, and they were quite accommodating to explain that they don't actually handle the scrap tires but I could drive around the building and leave my tires around the back, which I wasn't aware of when I visited this location. This employee could have explained further and got my business instead of being so nonchalant. I refuse to deal with this locations automotive center any longer, I'll drive the extra few minutes to another location with people that actually want to help me find what I need.

Looking for a replacement filter for my shop vac. Have the product #, find the location in store, nothing on the shelf. Ask store employee to look up the filter. First off he tells me the wrong location for the product, after I mention I've found the spot and product # on the shelf. After realizing he was wrong, looks up the product, says they have 8.. I ask if they might be in the back. No, he says. I ask if they could be elsewhere. Nope. ..Is it an inventory error? ... probably, he says. I'm laughing because it's already kind of ridiculous. I start looking through the other filters. I find one that looks similar, he says he'll scan it. I say- it's not the right one but might work and his scan will only verify that it's the wrong one. He scans anyway, and of course.. So I say, I'm gonna take a look at it out of the box. He says "oh you can't".. I'm sort of in disbelief. I tell him I've had a look at an item out of box before without any issue.. and he says "you can't. I look anyway, and mention how ridiculous it all is (I have absolutely no where to hide a shop vac filter on me. After seeing that the filter won't work, I thank him (regardless of how useless he was), and move on. After establishing he's been there for a year +. My whole point: I've been a customer at this location for years. I've been to countless Candiam Tire stores across Canada. I've never seen so much disorganization over my multiple trips to PURCHASE PRODUCTS as I have at this particular Canadian Tire.. There appear to be 0 experienced sales staff on the floor. I've spoken to the manager in the past about being subject to so much disorganization and lack of helpful info from staff, and it's only becoming worse. A sign of the times I suppose.. and I'm only 41 (face palm!)

This store offers such a wide variety of products. Tons of Christmas items, at the moment. Quite clean. It would be nice if the staff made the effort to ask: "Can I help you find something?". I'll be back.

I hate the Rats maze to get to a cash. I went because they had the stock and best price on an Item. I really try to stay away from here. One of the associates(?) tried to help me, but couldn't. I think it was a language barrier, or lack of product knowledge. I was surprised when he approached me, first time in many visits. I only shop here if the has a good sale price, unfortunately most sales at CTC are about normal prices elsewhere.

Big store, a little pricey nowadays. Can't rent tools from here. Plant section and food section could be improved. But honestly just being picky, it's a good store. But also more staff available would be nice since I asked for help with screws where one employee couldn't help, we called one to come other and said it would be a few minutes. Waited 5 minutes and I left without help

Stay away from Canadian tire for anything that is electronic. There return policy is the worst. Bought a 600$ coffee machine that was defective that I tried to return 4 days after purchase and could not get a refund, yet they were willing to offer a store credit. So basically they acknowledge the machine is defective but yet they want to keep my money or have me spend the equivalent amount in the store. In this day and age of online shopping if Canadian tire wants to keep their customers they should do the right thing with their return policy.

Best Canadian Tire experience I’ve had. Customer service is really great and helpful here. Zero issues with this Canadian tire, everything I need is always in stock. Website is always a great bonus for pinpointing exactly where items are in store.

once again the website is misleading and had me believing that there were many items in stock when it wasn't the case. when will canadiantire(and other companies) fix what's the matter with their system that even the store clerks admit is misleading. the staff did make an effort on my part and as usual its not the workers but the company that is at fault

DO NOT BUY A BIKE HERE. I bought a bike here and by the time I got home one of the tires was flat. When I called them about fixing the problem they told me I could bring it back in a wait a week to get it fixed. They were completely rude and unapologetic for the inconvenience in selling me a broken product.

There's a lack of customer service and they treat you like a criminal, making it unnecessarily difficult to leave the building if you don't buy something. It's difficult to buy anything when it's never in stock, impossible to find, and never enough employees to help. I now drive further to Home Depot now where items are actually in stock, they have employees to help when required, and you can easily walk out without hassle if you don't buy anything.

Went here to replenish my fishing tackle box and pick up a few things to try out. Good selection of fishing merchandise. There were a few things out of stock that I would of picked up but that was to be expected as it was around the start of bass season opening and lots of people heading out for summer holidays at the cottage.

Absolutely dismal customer service, with the "cash manager" refusing to honor the scan price guarantee. A sled that scanned at $30, but was supposed to scan at $20, the manager said because they put the wrong barcode on the items, they would not honor the guarantee. Totally confrontational, not one ounce of customer service skill, did not care if I walked out of the store an unhappy customer in any way. Absolutely would fire her. 1:30pm March 3, 2023

Great place to find repair parts for truck. Love the weekly sale prices too on different varieties of everything they have in store. Great customer service as well

The staff in the store are very friendly, but the management are hostile and difficult to deal with. While on the way out of the store I saw Box of chocolates and the price on the shelf was $2.49. When I got to the cache and they scanned it it rang in at $3.29. Canadian tire allegedly follows the scanning code of conduct. However, 2 separate managers felt like adding rules to the scanning code of conduct, stating that because they had forgotten to take down the old sale tags I do not qualify for the scanning code of conduct. Fortunately, Canadian tire head office was more than happy to help, I filed a complaint and they added $5 to my Canadian tire card. The worst part of the experience was standing quietly while the manager yelled at me in front of customers. All my responses were calm and taken straight from the scanning code of conduct.

Awful return policy. I attempted to return a product that didn’t work properly and they refused to refund my purchase. Their policy is to only offer store credit or exchanges, even if the product is defective and you have the receipt. They also don’t warn you that every purchase is final sale, even if the product is defective. What a scam! Spend your money elsewhere, where they will stand by their products and offer helpful customer service.

Been here many times, but this time I found the store stuffed with many goods and more organised. - Clean and neatly organised. - Equipped with pretty much everything related to household appliances, products, furniture, hardware, gears, etc., - Friendly staff willing to assist. I'll definitely come here more often.

I have been trying to exchange defective Christmas lights at another location since January (They don't exchange when the season items aren't out). After another failed attempt at that store - I visited the coventry store today. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Incredible customer service.

I will always bring my car to this Canadian Tire! The staff are so friendly and there are set prices. I was confused about an issue with my car after getting it serviced here and when I called the manager, Eric was happy to assist me and explain what was going on in terms that made sense to me. After the call my car had a brake light sensor turn on and when I brought it in he was super kind while letting me know I had the hand brake on LOL. He also quickly tightened my battery for a separate issue. I couldn’t be more thankful!

You can get keys cut here. The staff was Helpful. The store is easy to navigate with the websites help. They didn't Have many prices listed and it was difficult to find Staff to price check the items since they don't have any scanners set up to check ourselves.
