Came her for a local concert and the atmosphere was great! It's a small but really nice space with fun lights and a disco ball! There's a bar at the back and some seating too. The people working were also super nice.

Great, large venue space. The lighting and sound was really well done. The bar has limited options and might sell out - but thats telling of how good the drinks are! Really enjoyable experience

Nice event space with an enclosed court yard. There is a full bar when there is an event. Directly linked to Ottawa art gallery and right next to old jail. Meter parking out front or paid parking lot in Rideau centre.

Friends and I have had the opportunity to enjoy this beautifully reimagined space twice so far and both events were wonderful! The staff are friendly and efficient, the drinks selection works for this gluten free person, and the sound is great. As an aside, someone at the Said the Whale concert had really bad farts, and I'd strongly suggest they stop eating gluten, should help alot with that.

Nice venue, I saw Crywank here in April 2023. Bar doesn’t serve much alcoholic drinks, and you’re not supposed to bring any water bottles inside (understandable). Coat check was $2 each if I recall correctly. Very lowkey spot with nice lighting. Not quite the same energy as live music in a bar/pub though.

Small location. With some tables but mostly standing room to watch performances

1st time there. Jon Spencer put on an amazing show. I knew I got there a bit late and paid 30 bucks to see Jon. I asked how late am I and the girl I paid said he only went on 10 mins ago. 3 songs later it was over. I was lucky he put on a lengthy encore. Atmosphere could be better but closer to the stage was a bit more alive with energy.

Honestly blown away by the venue as a first time person. Really nice and modern, staff were incredibly and helped us with anything we needed. I would definitely consider this place to host any type of event

First time going out in years and the event itself didn't dissapoint! The venue itself is amazing! I love the concept and everything about it. I wish more spaces would be as welcoming as this one. A must if you are in Ottawa, reminded me of Montreal events/nightlife.

I have been here twice now and I can say for certain I am still unhappy with the audio sound quality (too loud, even the bands were asking the techs to turn them waaay down. I love loud music but you couldnt hear the individual instruments or vocals) and not to mention they dont take cash, but the coat check girl takes your cash? Tapping a card at a bar is simply ridiculous. Also dislike how some of the staff and patrons were still wearing masks... nerd bar.

A very creative place where many interesting events take place, it is fashionable to meet interesting people and make new acquaintances. They have a free gallery and a delicious bar.
