I rarely write negative reviews. 😅 Unfortunately, my experience at Renu Spa was very unsatisfactory Even after giving all the details of my pain points, the masseuse just focused on my upper back for 50 mins out of the 60 mins of registered massage that I was booked for Even while booking, the person on the call was unwelcoming. That is definitely not a reflection on the rest of their staff. We were welcomed very warmly and one of the managers (Sheila) was very forthcoming and accommodating. Some people might have a better experience here. Unfortunately, I was not one of them

I was visiting Ottawa and booked a massage treatment at this location (very close to my hotel) and they accommodated me on such short notice. I had the 60 minute massage and cupping therapy done with Sue and it was amazing! The spa was clean and COVID protocols were in place and they really take care of you. 10/10 would come back here.

What a great place! I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. The masseuse even respected that I was there for relaxation. I love their booking system and the reminders. I highly recommend trying this spa. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated, which is exactly what I needed.

It’s a cozy oasis in downtown. The staff are amazing. They did an excellent job on my laser hair removal and took the time to make sure I was comfortable during my treatment.

This spa is amazing! I go to Kendra for deep tissue massage and it is so relieving, she is amazing at her work! She really goes deep and gets all the knots out which I appreciate as at other places I’ve tried they are too gentle. Will definitely keep coming here. Thanks

Very average spa. I was expecting a bit more from reading the reviews but I found my massage to be very mediocre and it did not seem to help with any of my concerns afterwards. Also the masseuse seemed to massage different sides inconsistently which was a first for me. No major complaints but also wouldn’t recommend a massage here.

Went for Skin product Black girl a the desk super polite and lovely . It looked like a spa was really pretty will be coming back . Service was nice

Anna was amazing!! This was my second last day in ottawa and I must say, loved the facial that I received. Anna is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable . I got a classic facial done by her and she was very knowlegeable about the right products for my skin type. Receptionist was very polite and friendly. Coming back here when I get another chance :)

The staff were professional and welcoming. The treatments were relaxing and rejuvenating. The atmosphere was calm and soothing. The interior design and decor fit the experience. I would return to RenuSpa again. Thank you Sam, Sheila and Maryam.

The atmosphere was very tranquil. I was greeted with smiles and was also asked about my reason for visiting, what I was looking for and what I wasn’t comfortable with. Tara was amazing at listening to my needs and explaining everything to me as this was my first massage! Overall, a very welcoming, serene place that I will be coming back to.

I have come here many times for RMT and literally all of their practitioners are excellent. I recently came in for a facial with Sheila and I cannot recommend her enough! It was definitely in the top 5 facials I’ve ever had.

This is the first time i have gone to Renu Spa Retreat. I had a 1 hr massage and Leah was great. I would go again. I felt good after my session. The Spa is quiet and inviting. Although located on a second floor, it is easy to get to.

Renu Spa on Kent Street is my favourite massage spot in the city. I've had appointments with Sue and Tara and they're both incredible at their craft. They ask the right questions and learn about your problem areas before starting, and throughout the massage, check in to see if the pressure is sufficient. I also love that after each appointment, they check in to see how it all went and chat through what I need to work on to help with my areas of concern. I appreciate the attention to detail and always look forward to my appointments.

Wow Anna is beyond amazing and I would highly recommend her! I loved the facial that I received, she mentions what she is putting on your skin and super friendly. I am impressed by Renu Spa for how to they take their customers seriously to ensure they have the best experience.

I had a 90mins massage with Tara for the first time in 7 months and it was exactly what I needed ! She is STRONG. There was a last min change to the RMT and the place was professional ala Dan gave a heads up. Loved the whole experience, would definitely come back again and recommend.

I so enjoyed the quiet retreat from the world. Anna has a great touch, just firm enough to gentle my muscles literally from head to toe. The delicate oils were a bonus for my winter-dried skin.

Nicollette was amazing! This was my first full body massage, and my first visit to this spa. Nicollette was very kind and made me feel at ease. She worked on areas I had pointed out from a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back. I left the appointment feeling much better!
