If I could give one B&B more than 5 stars, I would give it to this one. The owner is super friendly and tells you a lot of story and gives you tons of useful information (at least for us as tourists). Breakfast was perfect. The location is perfect. The neighbourhood was pretty quiet, even though it's so close to downtown, so we slept really well. Loved it.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights during my time in Ottawa. The prices were so much better than the other options in the area and with the included breakfast and parking, it seemed too good to be true. In fact, the location was very convenient for my purposes and I rarely had to take out my car to visit all the places I needed to go. Not only that, but the hosts Chantel and Pierre were very hospitable and made me feel welcome the whole time I stayed there. The breakfast was delicious with generous portions enough to keep me full well until the evening hours. They even went above and beyond and offered to make me a snack on my way out! I stayed in the room on the first floor with a shared bathroom. For me it was okay, but if you want to sleep in, I recommend requesting a private suite on the second floor as from around 7:30-8AM people will start to gather at the kitchen/dining area and the sound of movement and chatter may get a little bit distracting. Aside from that, the room itself and the facilities were all very clean and the king size bed was more than comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. As a solo-traveller on a budget, I could not recommend this place enough!

This B&B was absolutely adorable, and the hosts were super nice. Chantel was such a sweetheart, and she made our stay there truly unforgettable. The house itself was cozy as can be, and it was conveniently located near all the must-see spots in Ottawa. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, so we slept like logs after a hectic day, and woke up feeling refreshed for the next day. Now, let me tell you about the breakfast. Oh my goodness, it was out of this world! The dining room had this charming, whimsical vibe that reminded me of my grandma's place, with a lovely and kind-hearted grandma to match. Chantel, it was so great to meet you there, and you can bet we'll be coming back again for sure!

Nice little B&B in the heart of the downtown Ottawa. Very close to parliament hill and the surrounding museums and art galleries. Walking distance to the bar and restaurant district and Rideau Centre. Pierre is a great host who is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is great!

Our stay at Pierre's B&B was exemplary! The decor and ambience of Auberge des Arts is homey, welcoming while also being avant garde. Pierre provides next level customer service and will bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. The location is perfect for exploring all of Ottawa's main attractions. The breakfast was made to order and always very very delicious and prepared with care! My husband and me have stayed at many hotels and B&Bs throughout the world, and I would say that on a value and quality scale, Auberge des Arts rates in the top 5! Next time we are in Ottawa, we will definitely be staying at Auberge des Arts again (if there is a vacancy!) Bravo Pierre!

Excellent value for money. If visiting Ottawa on a budget this is the place to stay. The decor is older but adds charm to the place. The accommodations are clean. The owner is very sociable and goes the extra mile to ensure the guests are comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Auberge Des Arts for one night and loved it. Pierre made us feel home and welcome immediately, was extremely nice and gave us many tips. The breakfast was also great with fruits, juice, coffee and selfmade french toast and a nice talk with Pierre. The room was also clean. Summing up: We'll definitely recommend staying there :)

I would give this B and B 10 stars if I could. Great location, so close to downtown. Very comfortable room, shared bathroom wasn't a problem. Decor reminded me of my Granny's house, dining room with a long wooden table which was set up every morning for a full cooked breakfast. Pierre is an awesome host not only did he cook everything to order, but we had a choice! Pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausages and eggs however you wanted them, and that was after fresh fruit salad, cereal, the choice was amazing. Have to say it was by far the best BnB we have stayed in. Quirky decor, very friendly, multilingual and helpful host and a breakfast to set you up for all the walking you will do.

I had a great experience staying here. The hosts are great, breakfasts were excellent and the location is ideal. With few exceptions I was able to leave my car there and walk everywhere I wanted to go. I will definitely stay at Auberge Des Arts again when visiting Ottawa.

Such a perfect B&B! Just 2 streets away from the town center (Byward Market) making it conveniently central & walking distance to all key landmarks while also being quiet for a good night sleep. It has a vintage feel to the entire space and kept immaculately clean even with the shared bathroom. There is parking onsite, but the surrounding parking lots are also reasonably priced compared to usual downtown prices. The host, Pierre, is an absolute delight - super helpful with travel tips, always happy for a chat & quick with his delicious breakfasts. I am particular about my stays & took a chance with this one due to good reviews - will strongly recommend as well (as long as you are okay with shared spaces).

This is a fantastic place to stay. My friend and I stayed 1 week and were impressed with the overall experience. Host Pierre is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely attentive to his guests. His breakfasts are phenomenal! The fruit cup is fresh and varied, with a good attention to flavour balance and the omlettes and crepes are superb. My friend asked him about padding for chairs as we were working remotely. He didn't have any and made a point of getting us some! I hope it wasn't too much trouble but the gesture really made us feel special. Right in the Byward Market, you'll be steps away from some great nightlife, Parliament and the National Art Gallery as well as the Alexandra Bridge. We were there just as the restrictions were lifting and it was great to take in the atmosphere and have our beds just a few steps away.
