Billings Bridge is one of the oldest early settler communities in Ottawa. With a rich heritage of trade and commerce. The Billings family settled in the area in 1812 and developed businesses in the timber/ sawmill and agricultural sectors. Later the area's businesses grew and diversified to support the growing population and industry needs of Bytown and the surrounding area. It was only fitting that the site of Billings Bridge became home of Ottawa's first strip plazas, which opened in 1954. Today Billings Bridge shopping centre hosts a variety of stores, restaurants, banks and office spaces. With its ample parking lot and convenient location it is a great place to satisfy your shopping needs. After getting your shopping done at Billings Bridge walk down to the river side and look at the water and feed the ducks and bridge up your fingers for my videos, photos or reviews

Mall is decent size with ample parking both at the front and rear of the building. Some notable stores include, Walmart, independent, multiple mobile carriers. There are two banks on site. The food court is located on the second floor (McDonald’s, Tim Hortons subway, shawarma etc). The bathrooms are well used but were clean.

Had a watch battery changed at small jewelry shop at end of mall just past Walmart. The owner was very pleasant and fast and it only cost $20.00 thanks for the good service. The shop name was master fine jewellers

I used to go to the Billings Bridge shopping mall southbound before, and knew that not much renovation there. Anyhow,,the location is convenient for commuters to travel any direction with the OC Tranpo services both by train and by bus. If you travel east-west , take a bus to Hurdman Station for O train and ride to Blair or Tunney's Pasture by train.

It's a shopping mall that's pretty conveniently located. I thought this place was slow because I went there during lunch hours but I went at night and it's pretty slow then too. I guess it's part of its relaxed nature. Don't come here if you have to get things done right away. Come here to experience a local relaxing mall. Friendly people and overall niceness

Didn't come here for the shopping. I only came for the GRINCH!! I got my wish as I arrived without delay, there he was slumped on a mail box shouting and complaing as he should be!! Took a quick vid lol. Absolutely phenomenal performance!!

Surprisingly useful mall especially if you live downtown. One of the easiest places to park at that is near downtown, it has a lot of essential box stores plus decent food options. It's hooked into the bus system to boot.

I heard that security couple from the Mall was having a Mall guest's bags inside the Information Desk, while the woman was looking for it around the Dining Area, where she left them on a chair under the other woman control only for few minutes. Bags without any announcement were opened by security and badly shaveled out. Next day the bags were stolen from the 7th floor of the Government and Business offices building. Very strange curcumstensis. What you think ?

Billings Bridge Shopping Centre Is A Nice Sized Mall. There's À Grocery Store In It Along With A Variety Of Different Stores To Satisfy Most Of Your General Shopping Purposes. There's A Food Court On The Second Floor With All Kinds Of Food Vendors To Satisfy Your Hunger. There's Access To The Billings Bridge OC Transpo Terminal Here As Well.

Certainly not as huge as Bayshore, St. Laurent or Place d'Orleans, but it has a decent collection of various types of stores. The food court upstairs is modest in comparison, yet good enough. Being close to where we live, we go there only when we are in a bit of a rush and know for sure that whatever we're looking for will definitely be available there. With Billings Bridge, one does not have the luxury of browsing multiple stores selling similar items.

Billings Bridge is a place to shop with a long history in Ottawa. It is well documented on the Internet. It is adjacent to WalMart but not convenient to enter or exit, especially from Bank Street. City planners must address this on-going issue because it is hurting good businesses in that area as well. There is a food court on the second floor which you can access or leave via stairs, escalator and elavator. The second floor directly connects to Ottawa Bus Billings Bridge station. Parking is usually adequate. One McDonalds outside and smaller one in Food Court. With Bulk Barn, Banks and restaurant options, its a good place for one-stop shopping. The most important thing to remember is to avoid Bank Street [31] and always enter or exit via Riverside [19].

Billings bridge mall doesn’t have many options for stores but still has some good stores. Small mall, not overly busy! Can find what you need there , groceries, lcbo, clothing and shoe stores book stores and fast food and smoothie options. Bank, nails can always find something you need!

This is a difficult review to do because this is just a typical shopping center designed in the 1970s. It has been renovated and is clean and spacious. This mall is perfectly centrally located in Ottawa and has a big chain grocery store (they will load the groceries into your car), a Walmart, banks, jewelry, clothes, dentist... heck... it pretty much has it all in terms of shopping. The food court is up on the 2nd level... a bit awkward to navigate in a wheelchair but accessible. Parking is plenty and free. So... for a review of a mall... I asked myself, "Why only 4 stars not 5?" This place lacks a "vibe"... a real energy that other malls have AND driving to this place is awkward as the entrance to parking is off a very busy street or off a one-way street. Bottom line: I go regularly because it is operating at lower customer traffic flow-through than capable of, and I don't like crowds... so good for me, bad for the merchants. Walmart is always full, though (grrr) Ex-banker assessment: before renting a space here, I would advise careful consideration of cost of leasing vs traffic. Mall is improving though.

A great little location with many up to date shops! Bluenotes, Coles, Laura secord, Dollaramma. The food court has McDonald’s and New York fries as well(which is celiac friendly!) it also has an Independent Grocer and Bulk Barn as well as a Walmart. Everything you need in a convenient location. An excellent hub for the local bus system as well. I highly recommend stopping by!

Love this place. A Relatively medium-sized mall. My family and I would occasionally gather in the cafeteria upstairs and I enjoyed it. Has a Walmart, Loblaws, Dollarama, Bell, Roger's, Tim Hortons, a McDonald's outside, and some other goodies. For banks, it has CIBC, RBC, and TD Bank. Also, you will more than likely never get lost in this mall.

This is an amazing place, with a rich history and colorful past. The stores are great for a variety of different things one would want, and it has two different grocery stores. A must to visit for those that love malls.

I like this mall. This was my second visit. It's not too big and not to small. A variety of different types of stores. There's a Walmart, a Dollarama, many cell phone providers. There's even a grocery store attached. It's nice and clean as well.

Compact but busy shopping centre. Good variety of stores to accommodate all kinds of shoppers. This includes a Walmart, fully dedicated grocery store, and a food Court on the second level easily accessible by elevator or escalator. Something to meet everyone's shopping needs.

I love this place, it has everything you need and more things you would want. But don't think because there's an YIG there that you can do groceries on a Sunday past 5pm, cause it's closed at 5pm on Sunday which I think is not the way things should be, they can close every other store but leave the grocery store open at least, groceries is a necesity. Also, trying to put myself in other people's shoes; cigarettes and alcohol is the main legal addictions for so many years, therefore I would think that the LCBO there should also be open later, some people who NEED alcohol sometimes don't have money saved up on Saturday to buy two days worth and it's probably hard for some of them to travel further to another area when they do get money after 5pm, so I'm guessing some people who live in this area go threw alcohol withdrawal on Sunday night, all night and it's most likely hell for them to get to the LCBO on Monday morning, it creates a cycle that's hard to break.

Walmart here is disgusting, almost every isle has multitudes of frozen or refrigerated food stuffed randomly throughout. I would not recommend perishable food here as I have personaly seen these foods being put back at original areas after being left in bacteria inducin temperatures. Also left over open drinks and food from other restaurants using the isle like garbage cans. There is also a serious hygiene problem at this location, employees with body odors that could melt paint off the walls. The kind of odor that makes you choke and draws tears.

A pretty good two level mall, though don't get attached to some of the stores.

Convenient mall with all that is needed and easy to find off the East Riverside Dr. A Walmart at one end and a Grocery store in the middle with drive-thru pick up (can't take out grocery cart - good idea!) And a McD's in the parking lot for a quick snack!

I think this mall has a lot of potential but the empty spaces keep being replaced with stores nobody wants to go to if I’m being honest. I do appreciate the staples such as Rexall, Walmart, and Bulk Barn.

I just stepped in to use the bank! To me it's always seemed a little empty at times, with covid it might be a ghost town! I hope things get better and they can crowd their mall again!

Nice place, no parking issue, most of amenities are here.

Because it's an indoor mall, I would suggest bringing a cart on wheels so that you don't have to carry too much or even to put your coat in. You don't need a winter coat in there. Lots of parking with various entrances. Lots of great shops in there.

It's an old strip mall. Redeveloped over the decades it's well maintained and has a variety of stores. The food court is good, the bathrooms accessible. There are a few empty stores but it isarelatively lively place that benefits from the OC Transpostation a bookstore and Wal-Mart.

  • 4/5 Eric H. 1 year ago on Google
Mall keeps trying to keep up with the times. It is a go to place when on the bus. The mall needs to expand and invest more of the community needs to help liven it up more. Putting a movie theater or somthing big entertaining will be a big employment to the place instead of trying to stay in its original mall layout from when I was 5 years old. All the big malls have gotten bigger except this location and it is the one that has the most potential of its location.

I'm surprised this mall is still standing. There's lots of old stores in here but some are starting to shut down. There is one shop I absolutely love in this mall. I can't remember the name, but he sells important goods from countries around North Africa and the Middle East. There's some beautiful quality pieces in there and all very original.

Good overall shopping center. It can be very useful and sometimes busy since it is the only shopping center in the area that gathered this many kinds of stores. From cosmetic shops to travel shop, add to that the 2 main banks not to mention Walmart. This is great place to do your errands, do business and see plenty of people.

  • 5/5 Patrick James J. 1 year ago on Google
The shops there are cute and worldly. There are even banks there and a grocery store. The food court is the first stop from the transit. A bite to go is always a good way to keep the energy levels up high on a good day.

  • 4/5 Sean M. 1 year ago on Google
They've been working on making the mall more modern, there's a lot of shops geared for the elderly.

  • 5/5 Rana Z. 1 year ago on Google

Good place to shop, it is just a strip though. They need to work on washroom location.

  • 4/5 Mohammad M. 1 year ago on Google
It's a small mall, but it has almost everything you need. The food court is dated but still has a nice feel to it. A wide range of stores but it has too many cellphones stores.

  • 5/5 C B. 11 months ago on Google
If you want to enjoy shopping at Dollarama or eating a meal go before school is out. The kids are out of control. I don't even think the security can handle the situation.

  • 4/5 Ethan P. 1 year ago on Google
It has most basic needs from bank branches to grocery stores and phone booths. It’s not the most exciting mall ever but it’s nice to have within walking distance

  • 3/5 Catherine 1 year ago on Google
This mall is not bad. It has a food court, its connected to the transitway, and it has some good stores (pharmacy, Walmart, loblaws, coles, dollar store, etc.). The parking at the mall is fine. Pre-pandemic, it seemed much harder sometimes to find a spot during certain times of the day.

  • 5/5 comegetsomebeer 1 year ago on Google
For the age of the mall it surprises me how vibrant it is and how they kept the place from deteriorating. Two McDonald's, a Walmart and Tim Hortons keep this mall jumping. Only thing bad I can say is the passage to the OC Transpo area could use a clean and new paint.

  • 4/5 C T. 2 years ago on Google
Decent one stop shop for essential items. Can't say it has much else going for it but it's nice that you can quickly grab some food or something if waiting a long time at the attached bus station.

  • 4/5 Amanda H. 1 year ago on Google
Not a big mall, but it has a good variety of shops. It's connected to the bus station, so it's easy to get to by bus, but by car it's trickier to get to. There is lots of parking available though. There's a reasonably sized food court. There's a restaurant inside, as well as a Walmart, a bank, a dollar store, LCBO, hair salons, jewelry stores, optometrist, dentist, book store, photography store and more. It's small, but it has a lot.

  • 3/5 Angela M. 1 year ago on Google
The Mall was great, but my experience at Walmart self checkout was that I was charged more for two items then they were priced. The employees were very attentive and helpful and if you saw what they endured while I was there they (manager and employee at self checkout)they should get 5*

  • 4/5 Bakr E. 11 months ago on Google
It’s a good place to grab lunch or go for a brief walk. Not a fancy place but has a couple of good stores. Also have a walmart and dollarma, convenient for day to day shopping. It’s 3 minutes walk form a main bus station (billing bridge).

  • 1/5 Bridgitte B. 10 months ago on Google
Great selection of stores but they all seem to kick people out 30-40mins early. What’s the point of saying you’re open until 8pm if most stores close at 7:20 or 7:30.

  • 1/5 Tilman D. 6 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
I was really mad, because we got a parking ticket of 95 CAD. There is a sign for parking in a private property but the violation was that we came with a small Motorhome. They don‘t want these Cars in their parking lot. Consequence: we should not shop here. Never had similar regulation anywhere else. Very unfriendly for Tourist. 95 CAD, are they crazy? We called Security - no willingness to Take it back. We tried to call management - could not get them. We love Canada, but not that place. Avoid to shop there.
