Authentic Lebanese cuisine... mouthwatering Shawarma platter. The portion is big enough to feed 2 people! Absolutely delicious!

After many years and several visits, this is still the best shawarma in Ottawa, and probably the entire province. Don't bother with the wraps, this is the place you go to for platters. It doesn't matter if you want chicken, or beef or both, you will be blown away by the platter. Whether you dine-in or take-out, the platter comes absolutely loaded with meat, potatoes, rice, salad, hummus, and garlic sauce. The taste is out of this world, with the garlic sauce being the standout of the platter. The beef is also solid, which tends to be a weakness of many shawarma places. The platter will last you two meals at minimum, and probably three. This place is reason enough to make the drive to Ottawa, wherever you're coming from. If you go during lunchtime, expect a long line, but if you go at non-peak times, you should be good to go. Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food!

The best shawarma I had in all of ottawa.. the place is always busy... so always expect at least 20 mins wait time..But I would recommend to have shawarma from here. The restaurant is big so there are lots of seats available all the time. The staffs are friendly ..and moreover it's open till 1 am ... I would recommend to try shawarma sandwiches and mixed shawarma platter. They are enormous in quantity.. I also liked their shish kebab..

Each humongous portion of foods is served by friendly staffs, and each is full of taste and freshness. I’m craving foods served by this restaurant even right after I finish my take-aways with lots of leftovers!

Without a doubt best shawarma I’ve ever had. Huge plates and great taste. The quality is incomparable to other places in Ottawa and any else in Ontario. The beef tongue is my favourite personally but the chicken shawarma poutine and the plates are amazing. Great service and quick. Lots of seating and good parking. It’s clean and my go to whenever I’m in town.

Four years ago I lived in Ottawa and ate a chicken plate once a week. Today I finally had a chance to visit Ottawa again and the chicken plate is as glorious as I remember! There is no other Shawarma restaurant that has amazing quality, quantity, and uniqueness. Thank you for being the best Shawarma ever!!!!

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. It cost about 22 dollars for just the plate including taxes and all, but don't get me wrong here. This plate is MASSIVE! I alone could not finish it in one sitting. The chicken was great, with crispy skin, and the garlic potatoes were such a nice touch, soo tender and soft. Service was also great, the ladies at the front were so kind. 8/10

So good, always come back here when I am in town for work or vacation. The platters are a good portion, on the pricier side but the flavour is exceptional and the potatoes are to die for! Can't say enough about the garlic potatoes. Remember to try the spicy garlic sauce too.

i saw some google reviews about the restaurant and decided to try! Its inside a small complex with ample parking space. we ordered chicken shawarma cos anything else we asked was gonna take 25min to service. There is a small patio available too.. The falafel sandwich was good! The chicken and beef in the shawarma was too good !! expect a long crowd inside the restaurant. The place is rained neatly. Definitely should come here for dining when it opens up!

Wow…my first experience here - what a spot! The owners have obviously taken care to decorate nicely inside. Also the staff are super friendly. While we were waiting in line, they must have received 6 separate Uber Eats orders, and they somehow managed all of those plus all the people in line with no mistakes. The sandwich was good, but I’m giving 4/5 because they don’t have a large option.

Food is great and service is pretty fast especially with the long lines. The serving sizes are huge. My only complaint was the falafels were really dry.

As always I was trying to find something vegetarian in a not so vegetarian, and poutine was there to the rescue. They have a lot of variety of foods, I ordered medium poutine and a box of baklava. The poutine tasted really good but the portion size was a bit small. Baklava was just as good as baklava and of many types, but the diamond one was the best

I have been a very regular customer of Shawarma palace, especially this location. I had a terrible experience today with them. I get a burnt sandwich, shared the picture. When I go and take my sandwich back to the sandwich artist, this is what I hear back from him: “the grill is very hot and that is why your sandwich is burnt”. Dude, I have worked in the food industry and I know you cannot serve your customers with a burnt sandwich and give such lame reasons. I could clearly see a big ego from the person and when I asked for a replacement, this is what I get as an answer “I can replace the sandwich but I cant grill it”. I have absolutely recommended this location to a lot of my friends and family members as the best shawarma place, but not anymore. This is not how you treat your customers, especially when i mentioned the fact that I have been eating from almost 3 years from this same place and never have I received a sandwich so burnt. Great Shawarma. Personally, I think this is the best Shawarma in Ottawa. I've never had a bad experience here. The chicken plate from here is amazing. If you don't know what to try, I'd recommend this. The portions are great for the price, in my opinion. Always a clean environment. 10/10 I recommend.

My friend ordered for us and honestly Complete laziness with their food... You ask for something in the notes they dont follow. Call the store they ignore and send you to a voicemail system that is yet to be set up. this is discusting!

If you’re looking for some good arabic comfort food … this is the place ! If you like shawarmas … you’re gonna get your fix here If you like Filafel .. some really satisfying ones to be had here. So we ordered a mixed shawarma plate (includes lamb and chicken meats) with all dressings and some filafels. The shawarma plate was sooooo satisfying! The pickles, the garlic sauce (their garlic sauce is unique - light and kinda yoghurty… you’ll love it!), oh and the garlic potato pieces covered in Tahini sauce … you know what I’m taking about! The shawarma plate is easily great for 2 people. Filafels we’re quite rich, went perfect with the tahini sauce. There’s always a big lineup for ordering food so keep that in mind if you’re dining in.

Food - 4/5 Ambiance - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Price - Expensive Ordered chicken kabab platter, chicken shawarma, and a beef shawarma. First thing the platter size is huge. Their garlic sauce is one of the best I've had from all the shawarma places. With the platter you get 2 naan, which is good enough for 2 people. Good thing, it's open until late. If you're hungry and if you are looking for tasty food, shawarma palace is your savior.

No frills, no gimmicks kind of eatery. Guys are friendly enough (but not too friendly) and deliver as requested. Place doesn't look like the kind that sees lunch or dinner rushes. More like, grab and go so I had no problem getting an empty table to sit down at 7pm.

Consistently great shawarma. Go for the mixed plate, and the spicy garlic sauce. They’re bangers. I love how fresh the ingredients are behind the counter. There’s always fresh protein on the rotisserie’s and portions are generous. Staff is also super friendly and hardworking. They’re genuinely happy to serve you and go the extra mile to make you happy. Tables are also always clean for dining in and the music sets a really nice atmosphere.

I had been hearing about shawarma palace for the past seven months and at this point education became the secondary motive to immigrate. Shawarma palace took the top spot. I was absolutely blown away by the quality and the sheer quantity of food. The slivered chunk of tender and juicy chicken which is ever o slightly charred, crips salads that are always fresh and toum so fluffy it looks better than a whipped meringue. Their sandwiches are no far behind, in all an no exaggeration I must say it was the best shawarma sandwich I have had in my life, Perfectly crisp pita crackled and allowed me to devour all the filling in a convenient bite. It is a beautiful place, not just the food but to sit and talk to your brother and friends, catch up on a little bit of life after your final exams. I would highly recommend getting a bottle of Ayran.

Great beef and chicken shawarma. When I visited, they had six shawarma spits going, which means they have good volume and turnover. Plenty of seating inside to comfortably seat 50+ diners

My wife and I love this restaurant...! The food is great and so plentiful. We are vegans and we eat as royalty there...! The falafels are great, fresh and just crunchy enough. The potatoes are well spiced and not as oily and 'simplistic' garlicky as often. The veggies are superb. The service is great we feel welcomed and the food is prepared with love

The shawarma plates are the best in town. Same taste as all the other Shawarma Palace. There seems to always be a long line up here, but the staff makes the line disappear fairly quick. 5 stars food

Visit this place everytime I am In Ottawa and it does not disappoint. Fresh healthy food that is full of flavor. Do keep in mind that it is a bust location and this time around, at 4pm, there was a 25min lineup.

Stopped here on the way to Cineplex some friends and enjoyed it! This was the first time I’ve been in person, but I’ve ordered from here many times for delivery. The building is BIG. Like, this is a large restaurant. It has an absolute ton of tables and chairs, however, not all are available due to the pandemic. Still, they do have limited dine-in. It’s a really nice looking place on the inside! It was ALSO a very, very busy place. You get to choose what’s on your shawarma, which is nice. The guy who served me was even willing to put on extra onions which was great. I found the serving sizes to be pretty big, and the price was good! For Ottawa, it’s definitely cheaper than a lot of restaurants. Their drink options are pretty simple, though they do have coffee (which I didn’t order). But they have a ton of food options. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and a regular tabouleh salad, and both were sooo good. The guy serving me gave me a TON of tabouleh for the “regular” size, and it was pleasantly lemon-y. The sandwich wasn’t massive, but for ~$6 it was a good size (and delicious). My girlfriend got the regular chicken shawarma poutine, and that was hella good. Also a huge serving size for relatively cheap! All in all, I’d stop by here again if l’m in the area. All the staff were wearing masks, and I felt pretty safe here pandemic-wise. It was pretty cheap which was great for my college budget. And the food was delicious!
