I have come to this shawarma station over 50 times while I lived in the south. They have a great shawarma and Lebanese pies (cheese pies , zaatar, meat pie) I won’t be going here again because they don’t know how to value customers. Yesterday I ordered a family shawarma platter for pick up. I usually take a coupon with me for 5$ off. Just as an fyi there is no barcode or anything on this coupon , only an expiry date. When I went to pick up my platter, I realized that I forgot my coupon at home. I have gone before and the cashier was able to just give me the 5$ off. This time the cashier was insistent she couldn’t do it. I even told her the older lady that works there at the cash has done me a favour in the past gave me the 5$ off when I didn’t bring the coupon once. She refused to even ask the manager. ALL GOOD no issues. I paid , and left. Got home and noticed there was barely any chicken to feed a “family” which this platter as meant to do. I called in to complain and the response they gave me was “it’s up to the person preparing the food” aka not her problem. She said next time we will make it right …. But I had my family there waiting to eat. There won’t be next time to be honest. I’ll just go to shawarma palace across the street from now on.

Have been going here for more than 10 years. They give big platters at an affordable price. Definitely the best shawarma in Ottawa. The cheese pie is a little too greasy and gave me an upset stomach but it's definitely worth it!. The potatoes there are amazing. In addition, the workers are very friendly and generally, the service is fast too.

I have celiac, and have been going to Shawarma station for years. The staff are always so pleasant, and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. They have coupons to get free trios, drinks or sandwiches, all you have to do is put in your phone #. This time I ordered a chicken shawarma platter and they gave me so much food that I didn't think they could close the container. I tell people about this restaurant all the time. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much Shawarma Station!!

I'm not one to write bad reviews but my experience here was very upsetting. I came in at about 11:00 am, there was a man behind the counter lighting a spit, watching the soccer game. He didn't even look at me, didn't say hello and eventually went to the back. Another man came out, didn't look at me or acknowledge me, not a simple "hey someone will be right with you" and went to the back. The woman who runs the cash, made eye contact but also did not acknowledge me. Eventually I had to ask her if the shawarma station was even open. She looked very annoyed and went to the back to call someone. After a few minutes she came back out and started making my shawarma. Her attitude was cold and I could feel she was annoyed with me for having said something. Halfway through, she stopped, took off her gloves and went to help someone at the cash. I found that shocking. I kept waiting until a man came out and finished my order. He didn't look at me, didn't say hello, or sorry for the wait... She told him in Lebanese what I wanted and he handed it to her. She gave me a fake smile handing me my food. I am so disappointed in the customer service. To be honest, it's probably been one of the worse experiences I've ever had. I've worked many years in the service industry and I cannot imagine ignoring someone as they did. I used to recommend this place to everyone but will not be doing so anymore. Please take a moment and refresh with your staff how important customer service is.

We usually only get shawarma from shawarma palace but last week we tried this place for the first time via door dash. We were shocked at how good it is and the quality is above average. I think some places have declined in quality over the years so this was an awesome surprise. We ordered again this week and the quality was still the same. This is definitely our new go to spot from now on.

Shawarma Station's food tastes good. My favorite meal is the chicken shawarma. I especially liked eating in the booth seats from the old Rockin Johnny's diner decor restaurant. This place is so CHEAP!!!! If you order their family platter it’s now $50 before tax . It used to be $45 few months ago. When you order family platter they put the garlic and hummus containers inside the tray so that it takes up more space and they don’t have to give you as much rice and meat and vegetables. Raise the price and smaller portion. Bye bye shawarma station. Will never come back and I will tell everyone!!! Your are so CHEAP! Rip off!!!

Great fresh shawarma plates and pies. The meat is high quality and cooked perfectly. I approximate that here they don’t try and hide old, dried out meat under a fresh cut when making the plates. The pies are perfect traditional and adding favourite toppings is no sweat. Just love this place!

I really liked the decorations and how their restaurant looks from the inside. It feels like a diner. The servers were alright and did their job well. Ordered a small beef shawarma and a mixed chicken and beef shawarma plate The portions were really good like lasted me 3 days of eating it. I was impressed by the peppers like when u bite in it the spice actually exists unlike other Shawarma places. I just didn't like how the naans were kinda rolled up idk it felt alright. But the platter was delicious and would def recommend. The shawarma 3ss pretty good too, not the best I have ever tried but still good.

Best garlic sauce in the National Capital Region!!! And that’s not a boost, don’t bother going to Palace. This place is all you need, shawarmas never miss, their pies incredible (cheese and zaatar/thyme) definitely my favourite but also meat or meat with cheese add lime and spice is to die for. Need food for a lot of people, get their family plates they can feed 8 people easily and everything is decently priced. Great food even better people!!

We tried their food again tonight and it was full of salt..totally inedible!!!! Too much salt in hummus..onions were burnt in the rice..kebabs were very salty..Tabbouleh didn't have any burghul..this place can't improve!!!! ----------------------------- Old review: We ordered the mix bbq family platter meal and i noticed that they use unwashed romaine. This was the worst experience after noticing all the dust inside. And no it's not some kind of dressing because the dressing comes separately. All the salad went to trash. We won't be going back.

If you fell hunger i don't recommend Small sandwich wast money. In addition casher not bit polit

We ordered the family meal and we got so much food. Everything tasted good from the tabouleh to the shawarma to the garlic sauce. It was enough to feed 4 adults and lots of food leftover, definitely worth the value. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the mix shawarma plate with my friend. Watched soccer highlights on their tv ⚽️ ⚽️ .. perfect evening 😋👍🏼

I used to be a regular costumer but never again. I ordered from here and got very sick, like food poisoning. My stomach was hurting so much. There is lack of cleanness in this place, even the guy that does the cheese/meat pies uses his unwashed hands and touches the food then touches other things. Be aware .

Been coming for 12 years and I no longer live in Ottawa. The owner still remembers me. What an incredible restaurateur. I love this place, it's an institution. Enjoy!

Pretty sure me and my sisters just got food poisoning after eating this stuff, it was so oily and mushy. Plus their male staff love making young girls uncomfortable and even laugh at them

I’m assuming it’s under new ownership because I’ve never been treated so ignorantly in my life speaking behind the counter in Arabic and you know it’s about you… I’ve been coming here since they opened and never have I seen such stingy portions super disappointed I’ve always raves about this place and never giving it less than a five star…This is the third time in a row it has happened and I am Sad to say I’ll no longer be making a 20 minute drive to come here specifically here and move on to other places… Makes me sad really does because I’ve loved this place since the beginning…

Ordered the family platter... had to invite the neighbourhood over to finish it! Amazing food and great price. Service was also great. Loved the spicy garlic sauce!!!

Really love this place. The staff is super nice, food quality is awesome, quantity is great and wait time is short. Only issue I ever had was getting some very dry potato wedges. But now I avoid them and get the brown rice for my plates, which is very tasty.

This place never gets better! I always say let's give it another chance, but still the same. The food is terrible and the owner is very disrespectful. I would not recommend this place. Try shawarma palace is much better quality and very tasty.

One of the best shawarma restaurants in ottawa. Unfortunately they have stopped including homemade pita bread with their platters. Also no cans of soft drinks, only bottles. All halal menu.

It's mediocre for the amount of money they charge for everything. For the meat pie station, each veggie added is +$0.75. The shawarma area is not much better. Regular pita costs way way less than saj bread (the soft pliable pita). I paid $30 for two sandwiches. At least with Shawarma Palace you are getting the quality you are paying for. Anyways, this place seems to survive because of its late night clientele who don't have any choice other than mid-tier nourishment. The prices may seem cheaper but really they are not. Sorely disappointed with this spot.

They used to be so good! Last couple of times it’s been disappointing. They will never fill the sandwich with chicken or condiments unless you repeat it once or twice. I always get sandwiches full of veggies and no meat. The staff is dismissive and act like they are doing me a favor. I understand the economy is tough but when customers come so often to spend their hard earned dollar at least give them what they pay for.

Thank you Shwarama Station for amazing food. The chicken shwarama was very soft and tasty along with some amazing dips. Definitely will be going to order again.
