I am a woman and I had an odd experience here. The owner made multiple offensive comments regarding women when I was selling some items to him. Made a point of making sexist remarks then brought up other sexist comments 2-3 more times during our brief transaction. Seemed like a power trip/trying to get a reaction out of me because I am a woman. I just ignored him, took my money and left. Overall gave me a sick feeling in my stomach the way he acted nice but then was clearly trolling.

This place is more like a museum than a pawn shop. There's some beautiful items inside of this store. I would recommend coming by and having a view at some of the artwork and tapestries.

Gold Lobby is the best place to go to sell your gold and silver; you'll get the best price for your items! Very honest and knowledgeable. Courteous, prompt service while you wait. And Watch battery replacements only $10 each. I checked other stores and they were $16 and higher. Happy with the watches and the $400+ we got for jewellery that was just sitting in a draw at home.

I came in to get one of my pearl earrings fixed and they did a great job at a fraction of the cost. Here’s an insider secret - one of my friends used to work for a big name jewelry store and she told me that all of the jewelry repairs or battery watch replacements were just sub-contracted to smaller local businesses and the jewelry company would make a profit by charging a bigger amount to the client. Why pay for a middle-man? Since then, I did my own research and found this place - they are honest and have some of the best prices in town - that’s why I keep coming back even though it’s out of my way.

Honestly this place was recommended to me by a friend so it was my first time visiting this jewelry shop and normally I'm very picky to the places i go no matter how good the reviews are. I visited this jewelry store for the first time to bring in some Gold and Silver to be sold. It was a great experience, by far the best prices (Which are on their website for everyone to see), honest and upfront. He took my pieces and evaluated them one by one, gave me the weight and cost of each, giving me a total price for my items. I left the store feeling like I got the most for my old Gold and Silver, highly recommended! Great honest work, great service. Lessons learned: Don’t bring your Gold to Howard’s Pawn Shops!
