The staff is very courteous, helpful, and efficient. This is my favourite location to buy MAC cosmetics from. Service is stellar and I always learn a lot from the girls there. Shopping there is such a wonderful experience.

Hands down best experience in all of CF Rideau. Staff are super accommodating and LGBTQ friendly, they'll walk you through everything and lend you their full experience. You never feel like a burden or just someone to make a sell to. Cannot recommend enough

For you makeup needs for quality cosmetics. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I wish they bad more samples before needing to purchase a full size product. Though they have a good refund policy, no one is going to trek downtown to refund an item....at least I'm not.

I found that my knowledge of their products far exceeded the staff employed at this location. I was sent to the freestanding store on the 2nd floor by the even less qualified counter staff at Saks 5th Avenue (formerly known as The Bay) with a bunch of false information. I was appalled that Estee Lauder and MAC corporate feel that the sub par customer service and product knowledge is acceptable. Someone i know who has 23 yrs of CS experience and far stronger grasp of product knowledge wasn't hired at the Bayshore MAc store yet these I'll qualified staff were hired at what the company considers the Ottawa flagship.

the staff couldn't be bothered to help me get what I needed they were hard to find and there was no one at the cash. I had to wait around 10 minutes for one sales person to even come over to me and then another ten to get what I had asked for while they went back to work with other people. Not professional at all and a waste of my time if you need an employee to get any of the products then have some available to do that.

I went into MAC yesterday and it was such an amazing experience!! Mike helped me and I told him all my concerns and I came in kind of lost but came out so happy! He helped me choose a good highlighter that matches me and such a good eye palette. He gave me SUCH good makeup tips and answered all my questions thoroughly (I really appreciate it)! It was my first time coming in and won’t be my last, I will be coming here more often. The advice I got was perfect, and I feel so ready now for any upcoming events I may have!

I had my makeup done by Danielle, what an amazing experience. She took her time and showed me pointers and tips for applying makeup and honestly she did everything I asked for and more!! On a Thursday evening, I went into this store location to see if I could get a make-up appointment on Friday for a wedding I was a guest at. The staff worked to get me an appointment last minute. On Friday, they were able to get me in an hour earlier when I asked as I was available earlier on Friday than expected. Danielle did an amazing job on my make-up, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Danielle was very friendly, and made sure they checked-in at each step to see if I was happy with the eyes, lips, and lashes. Really appreciate the staff going above and beyond to make my last minute request happen!

I was delighted by the service and makeup done on my face by Laura, she is one talented young lady and I highly recommend anyone that wants to get their makeup done for an event to go see her. She squeezed me in and took her time to help me. Prior to her stepping in others would start helping and then walk away to assist someone else and made me wait around. I was just about to walk out when she came to the rescue. I ended up purchasing much more than what I was expecting thanks to all her recommendations. Great work, she is very talented!

Amazing customer service! The employee who answered the phone (and who I understand was the only one working at the store at the time) at 10am on Monday, June 17, 2019 is a gem! I was looking for a discontinued product, she checked her inventory and did not have it, but then offered to call all stores in the area. She called me back a very short time afterwards, had located a few remaining products in a different store and had asked that they hold it for me for a couple of days. This kind of customer service barely exists anywhere anymore, and it's such a breath of fresh air to find a staff member who goes the extra mile and is dedicated to customers. It's the type of service that ensures brand loyalty. Well done!

I visited the Mac outlet yesterday to buy a matte lipstick. And I was super impressed with the customer service. Gen helped me throughout, she even tried some other products on me and gave me a complete look. She was very patient and kind throughout. Gen is excellent at her job. I would definitely recommend this place.
