One of the worst cafe experiences I’ve had in a long time. Avoid here. It looks lovely from the outside! Very nice lighting and feels retro. Don’t let that fool you. Ordered two coffees, one of which was undrinkable. When asking for a jug of water to wash the unpleasantness away we were given a sigh from the waitress. The toilets were disgusting. Not clean and absolutely stank. Would avoid like the plague. Such a shame as the cafe should be so nice for the film! Feels like it just relies off the tourism from the film.

If you are an Amelie fan like I am, DO NOT GO to this cafe. Because it will ruin all the good vibes that you have about this cafe from the movie. It seems like the owner of the cafe just uses the movie as a tourist trap to attract fans like us. The interior is terrible and changed a lot. The only things which resembles the movie is a pair of movie posters in the cafe. The cafe is very dirty, especially the toilets. We just wanted to experience the cafe and re-live some good moments of the movie, and ordered a coffee. But coffee was bad and BE CAREFUL because they charge more than what they show next to bar. Apparently, if you sit on the bar, coffee creme is 2.50€ and if you order while sitting on a table it is 4.90€. The waiters were not really paying too much attention to customers unless you are a single woman. If you are visiting this cafe only for the movie, my advice to you just walk in, have a look around quickly and make a photo, and the leave.

Only went there with the hype of seeing a movie. Loved the movie and absolutely devastated by seeing a cafe in a real life. This cafe could have so much potential and all wasted in a beautiful city of Paris. Food below average. Service is a mess ( QR code doesn't work, waiters look busy in an almost empty cafe. Tables are dirty. Chairs almost collapsing and some of them having destroyed leather cushions. Toilet is below pleasant experience. Sink is half broken. Lighting in the place is also broken in some places around the cafe. It's just sad. Again, so much potential for this cafe which just became a tourist trap for those who have seen the movie and enjoyed it.

Café des 2 Moulins in Paris offers a delightful experience with its charming atmosphere and friendly service. While I didn't try the food or drinks, the ambiance alone made it worth the visit. The café's connection to the movie "Amélie" adds an extra layer of intrigue, making it a must-visit spot for fans.

It's a cute place, especially if you're a fan of the movie. I found it worth the visit for the experience! Just a few things to note: Positives: - The food is good! The creme brulee was really yummy, and so were the escargots. - The space looks Negatives: - the PRICE is definitely the biggest downside. Absurdly high prices. If you're dining in 3, for example, don't expect to pay less than 100 euros. Even though the food wasn't bad, it wasn't really great either. Even the movie doesn't justify how high the price was. - The place fills up quickly and servers get busy, which often leads to longer waiting times for orders to arrive, or even to get your check. The trick is to be consistent in reminding them of things (which isn't exactly ideal). Overall, I still found it to be a good place to visit at least once. It was a cute dining experience that made me feel a bit immersed in the Amelie movie.

Only had a coffee and a croissant here, but the service was friendly and fast. The location is great for Montmartre atmosphere and people-watching. The prices were a little high at €5 for a coffee but that may be to do with the fact that the place was the set for the movie Amelie.

This cafe is an ordinary hangout, which became famous only thanks to the movie "Amelie". We didn't even stay for dinner because the service was terrible from the start. The best place in the cafe with tables was taken under the area with Amelie's photo, like a museum. And the territory near the entrance was filled with uncomfortable tables, at which you feel like you are on a train, and not in a cozy cafe.

This cafe in Paris is a great place to visit for fans of the movie Amélie, as it was the location for many of the film's scenes. The atmosphere is very authentic, and it's easy to imagine Amélie herself working behind the counter. However, the food and coffee are not very good, and the service is mediocre. The prices are also quite expensive. Overall, I would only recommend this cafe to fans of the movie Amélie who are looking for a nostalgic experience.

Amélie was over 20 years ago but the place still looks the same! Drop by for a great coffee, superb Crème brulée d'Amélie and enjoy what is now a different (less psychos with dictaphones 😉) but very fun atmosphere! Worthy stop if you're checking out the nearby Moulin Rouge anyway!

Yes, the cafe that featured in The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain. I thought this place was going to be absolutely expensive because it's a famous tourist point but I was surprised it's an okay-affordable place! They serve meals for the whole day, by the hour I'm here I saw two people going up to the piano and I think this is a cool place to chill and lunch. I drank a magnificent drink and ate a good steak. The whole staff speaks english and they have an english menu too. Literally no complaints, 5 stars.

I dropped there solo by chance as it was quite near my hostel. The cafe was quite small but came to know later it was a filming location for Amelia the movie. However, regarding the space, it seemed to be difficult to keep a distance when packed. I ordered an onion soup plus a chicken finger for a quick bite. They only had the menu in French though so I used Google translate. I wasn't sure if there were very few English speaking waiters/waitresses I only saw one who did speaking English to other customers so it took a bit long. However thanks to him for being so attentive to all customers. The french onion soup is tasty and went well with the freezing weather. The price was affordable.

You should only visit if you're a fan of the movie Amelie. The food was pretty average: the escargot was great but the veal escalope and vegetables bechamel lasagna weren't good. Toilet was not clean.

Nothing to say, I was just sitting there and remembered all the scenes from Amelie. Place looks exactly like that, though there are few changes in time. Place is really busy, I went there at 1o clock, spend two hours approx, though it is really crowded the guys impressed me with their service. Food is good the place is good. Loved the experience.

Good place, but not much varieties! The menu has some nachos and fries.. But is a good place to have a coffee! For the “fabulous destin D’ Amelie Polin” is an important stop and don’t forget to go to Toillet, where have pieces used in the movie.

The waiter ripped us off. Charged us full price during happy hour. Went to the bathroom when I came my wife had already paid. No receipt, when literally every other restaurant has given us a receipt. He clearly pocketed the difference. If you're a tourist that doesn't speak French I would avoid unless you want to be stolen from.

It became famous in 2001 in the film Amélie because it was the setting in which Amélie worked as a waitress. Its name refers to the Moulin Rouge and the Moulin de la Galette, for being close to the place. Before Amelie, it had already served as the location for two other films.

The waiter was incredibly rude. He was not professional he can not even service a coffee! Even he can not take the orders. The burger was 2 out of 5. But French fries was disgusting. Thanks to film they have still client but think take a pics and pass it without ordering their disgusting food.

The café has gained considerable fame since its appearance in the 2001 film Amélie, in which it is the workplace of the title character. It has since become a popular tourist destination.[2] Another location from the film, the convenience store of Collignon, is located nearby, on the rue des Trois-Frères. The tobacco counter, tended in the film by Georgette (Isabelle Nanty), was removed in 2002 when the cafe changed ownership.[3][4] The cafe was listed in the Registre du commerce et des sociétés in 1964.[5] According to Marc Fougedoire, the current owner, the establishment opened its doors at the beginning of the 20th century, but did not take its current name until the 1950s.[6] It had already been used for two other films before it was in Amélie.

Café with a good history. We went to this place with my wife because of Amelie film scene, which was made there. And I need to tell that we spent a good time there: - filet mignon was really delicious and deserves 5 stars for sure; - special burger was OK, but without individual style or smth like this. Anyway it was tasty. Menu is not so big, but everybody can find smth to eat. But as for me, better to go here for some brunch, not for a full dinner or lunch (but maybe I'm eating to much when it's cold outside). Anyway, it's worth to visit (at least ones), especialy to Amelie fans 👍

We were greeted at the entrance by the waiter who asked us if we were just going to have a coffee or a meal, we went to the indicated place and the service was courteous and fast. I think you come here for the poster of Amélie. The food wasn’t great. We tried to make a reservation for Sunday 7pm and there weren’t any tables available. But when we passed by, the restaurant was mostly empty you could sit wherever you want inside.

Loved it. Famed for the location of the film Amelie, but some things (seats, washroom) are a little run down, but the service was excellent, nice staff, and the food was excellent and good value. If the owner just gave the decor a little more love it would be 5 stars, because I really enjoyed everything else.

This cafe is famous as it serves the location of the movie Amélie. Had the pleasure of savouring the iconic French dish, Croque Madame, and the humble ham and cheese elevates to new heights of indulgence. The cafe ambience was cosy and inviting but slightly dated, Perhaps it is of Parisian touch. Worth to try out this cafe when you are in Montmarte, Paris, as it is just nearby.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of that bar - café. I felt like I was in a movie which could have been true as the movie Amelie Poulain was shot there. My friend and I were very welcomed by their friendly (and handsome) bartender, and we even got a free cocktail as courtesy. The prices aren't that great which is understandable as it is a touristic place. The food is good but as I mentioned, expensive.

(Translated by Google) Located 15 rue Lepic, Paris (18th), at the corner of rue Cauchois, Le Café des 2 Moulins is a café-brasserie, one of the mythical places of the Montmartre district, made famous in 2001 by the film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet “The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain”, for which it served as the setting and in which the main character works as a waitress. Its name refers to the Moulin-Rouge and that of the Galette, both close. Following the success of the film, it became a tourist spot, and a poster of the film was installed inside the cafe. Sometimes a neighborhood bar or café filled with regulars, sometimes a bistro with traditional home cooking based on fresh produce. The tobacco counter, run in the film by Georgette (Isabelle Nanty), closed in 2002 following a change of owner. Close by is another location from the film: the Collignon grocery store, located rue des Trois-Frères. According to its owner since 2003, it opened at the beginning of the 20th century but did not take its current name until the 1950s. It had already served as a location for two other films before Amélie Poulain. Loved this cafe! The food was simple yet delicious! My husband and I went early in the morning so it was still a little quiet. Cafe des 2 Moulains (The Two Windmills) where the main character Amelie (Audrey Tautou) in the movie Amelie from Montmartre works. The staff are incredibly nice and it was no problem at all to take photos inside the cafe.

(Translated by Google) A warm atmosphere desired by the new owner of the place and his team. A plate with a good value for money: tender and tasty meat and desserts to die for! We had a lovely evening. I highly recommend. Me, I will go back very soon :) (Original) Une ambiance chaleureuse voulue par le nouveau propriétaire du lieu et son équipe. Une assiette avec un bon rapport qualité prix : viande tendre et savoureuse et des desserts à tomber par terre ! Nous avons passé une belle soirée. Je recommande vivement. Moi, j'y retournerai très vite :)

They took at least half an hour to give them to me with my coke. Por lo menos tardaron media hora en darmelos con mi coca cola.

Food was great, staff was friendly. The toilet needs to be fix though, faucet was not working and needs a major clean up. But I still give it a 5 star as the owner was nice.

(Translated by Google) Pushed back like filths, for no reason, by a pretentious waiter. The magic of Amelie Poulain is very far away. Banal coffee moreover, move which took the big head. (Original) Refoulés comme des malpropres, sans raison, par un serveur prétentieux. Elle est très loin la magie d’Amelie Poulain. Café banal de surcroît, bouge qui a pris la grosse tête.

An extra star for being the Amélie café! It definetely has an extra charm and it's lovely to be able to have a drink in there! Was crowded and it could have been a bit cleaner, but definetely worth a visit if you love Amélie!

Very cosy (it makes you want to come back), with delicious creme brulee and very good tea. The service was a bit slow.

The ‘Amélie’ Cafe, cool place to drink a coffee or to have a small bite. It has a really French vibe, crowded and noisy at times but colorful and friendly also.

Cute café and friendly personnel. The food was tasty and the prices were good (for Paris). It's right behind Moulin Rouge
