Beautiful event venue. It is an hour away from Paros. We slept over at the hotel. Some guests drive back to Paris. Its historic, greeny, and beautiful. The room is small but doable. The hotel n the building a old, but you get the sense of oldness of the place. Regarding the wedding dinner operation, the food was slow and it was only 3 dishes. So we weren't very impress with that. The reception drinks and snacks were great.

Incredibly lovely area of beauty. Has various walks which follow a quaint river mounted by many bridges; above is a castle! Wonderful place for the whole family

Great place if you want to discover the French countryside, only an hour away from Paris. Beautiful places to hike, especially the forest, and you can find very good restaurants.

Gorgeous area that's an easy train ride (followed by an easy walk) from the RER B line in Paris, although it also seems to be popular with local cyclists. Loved the lush green hills and the view from the Chateau de Madeleine.
