We absolutely loved our stay at Manurii! We would have stayed longer if we could but they are usually fully booked so we were lucky to stay when we did! The service was exceptional and the grounds were just gorgeous and very well maintained. The location is perfect! So close to everything yet it’s so peaceful. We couldn’t wait to get off the busy main street and retreat to our own little oasis and spend the afternoon in the beautiful (and clean) pool while enjoying a coconut margarita (it’s a MUST try!). We’re already looking forward to our next visit :)

Eno, the owner, welcomed us on day one. He was incredibly friendly and gave us great information about places to go around the island. Rooms were simple but clean and ac was excellent. Bathroom was clean and water could get heated well if needed. Location was a little further from the main road, which made us feel safe despite already being on a very safe island, but is close enough to walk to some good places. Would recommend renting a moped for the experience and fast trips. Amenities were nice; pool is clean and deep; hammocks were a nice touch. Excited to come back to Manurii on our next trip back to Utila!

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. I left within a few hours and could not complete my entire stay. The sewage smell(mixed with overpowering incense sticks) and noise levels were unbearable. As the saying goes, when it rains it pours. First, I could not check into my apartment until 8p at night. There was no communication with the hotel. They didn't even have my reservation and left me outside in the pouring rain for 15 minutes to "find" it. The manager was living in my apartment and had to stall me to clean it. Naturally, it was not clean when I moved in. It was disgusting. The owner did not reply to my message until 7 days after my reservation ended. There was no wifi. I had been on utila for months and never had an issue with internet prior to this property. This is the only place I stayed at where it did not work, it was completely shut off. The apartment smelled of sewage. There were blood stains on the sheets and dog hair everywhere. The walls are paper thin, you hear absolutely everything from all surrounding guests. The problems I faced at this hotel and with the owner go on and on. When I spoke to the owner Enno, about the issues I incurred, he immediately became defensive and blamed me. He told me this is the first complaint he has received in 15 years. He completely discredited my very real experience. He told me I was rude and that his staff couldn't wait for me to leave. I never met his "staff", nor him. I imagine that will be his rebuttal to this review. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel and aggressive, accusatory host.

A very nice quite and cozy hotel not too far from all bars and restaurants in town. Wendy the manager was an absolute gem who looked after all our needs and ensured we had a pleasant stay on the Island

I stayed at 6 different places including Airbnbs, hostels, and luxury hotels (like Manurii) over my 2 weeks in Honduras, and Manurii was the only place able to offer me a reliable hot shower with water pressure. Big win! Beyond that, the whole unit itself was gorgeous and included a great kitchen space. The bed was comfy, though maybe not the comfiest pillows, and I got a great nights sleep. The pool is gorgeous and clean. I didn’t get the chance to go in due to my stay being super short but it was really great looking. I also loved the grounds- beautiful landscaping, including aviary’s with birds! They did a great job styling this place, both in and outside the units. Service was wonderful too. Wendy helped check me in, and didn’t just hand me keys- but had a great conversation with me, a tour of the grounds, details on how things work, and of course showing me to my room. Overall, if I come back to Utila, Manurii will be tied for top of my list. I highly recommend it for a luxury hotel stay with a great pool. There’s better options if you want to be right on the beach (Coral Beach Village) but this has gotta be the best place in town.

Arguably the best hotel on Utila. The pool and bar area are great. The owner Enno and his staff are awesome people to chat with! They also have tons of information about the island. Will stay here again for sure.

We were told about Manurii by some friends who insisted we visit while we were in Utila. So glad we did! Now- before you go, make sure you realize the sign & road to get to the actual hotel is kinda hidden. We nearly gave up because we couldn’t find it. Once you get there, it’s set far enough away from the street noises so it’s quiet, birds chirping, & such a gorgeous isolated location. The bartender was super sweet & talented, made us some delicious Pina Coladas. We did not stay at the hotel, simply visited the pool & bar, but I imagine a hotel stay would be just as magical!

Very nice boutique hotel with about a dozen rooms. Open bar on honor system! Very nice and informative staff. Great steak house (Mamut) next door open on Wed and Sunday - great food and atmosphere!. Hotel rooms are large but no place to really put luggage etc... Pool is large enough for lap swim. Hotel is a little off the path when looking for breakfast. But lunch and dinner options are nearby.
