Have been here twice now and love it so much. The staff here are nice and helpful. The rooms are simple and provide everything you need. Each room has a nice level of privacy. You can swim and snorkel right off the back dock. I plan on staying here every time we come to Utila.

We were here during the quiet season (november), travelling as a family of five in two rooms with an 8 and an 10 year old. The large room upstairs had three beds in two bedrooms, and a large kitchen. We also had a small room downstairs, but this one had a bad smell so we asked to swap it to one of the other rooms, which they took care of straight away. It is on the quiet side of the main street, something that suited us perfectly. Having acces to the dive center in the resort was ideal. The restaurant upstairs has good food and drinks. There are a few restaurants and beaches within walking distance - best snorkelling we found was off bando beach towards the moon hole dive buoy.

My wife and I loved our time at the Odyssey. It was quiet and low-key, and our room was clean. The Tank'd Bar & Grill makes great Mexican food. And If you're diving, having the dive center right outside your door is a huge plus! Highly recommend.

My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Utila. The Odyssey is a great place to stay. The rooms were great and cleaned regularly, and the coffee maker, coffee and sugar provided in the room was a nice touch. The food at the restaurant is all homemade and delicious as are the drinks. Greg and the staff at the dive shop are very accomdating, knowledgeable and friendly. Greg even met us at the airstrip upon arrival. The coral in Utila is probably the best I've dove on in 25 years. Micheal, our captain was excellent and wise above his years. The dive masters were knowledgeable and skilled. The only draw back was their use of instructors in training during the dives. A certified dive instructor was always with these people during the dives but for us it did take something away from the experience having these people lead the dives. Despite this our week with Greg and at the Odyssey was simply incredible. We have told lots of friends about how great it is and will definitely return!
