Tokyu Plaza Kamata

Shopping center

👍 Pretty big and confusing if you don't Know your way around the building. But pretty big store and one can manage to get decent price clothing, home decor and other stuff too. Other shops also close by so it's attractive to come and shop here. Very crowded though on weekends coz of course!

Our favourite place here is the small fun park on the top floor of this plaza. Kids favourite is the small train ridee.

Some (most) people don't like kamata. And they are right. Best to get a train out of here and shop in a nice place. If you can afford to go shopping you can afford a train ticket to a better place right? Do it.

It's a bit weird because it directly connects with Granduo, and you might not realized when you go from one to the other. It's been slowly undergoing a face lift so it doesn't seem as old and tired as it used to. The shops have rotated around as well so there's a good selection. I mainly come here for the cafés and restaurants. The roof top is pretty cool too.

I'm not complaining about the outlets but the entire complex is so confusing. Very difficult to find entries and exits.
