I don’t know what other period this beach looks like. When I visited today, shore is full of plastic waste, child diapers, glass bottles, styrofoam pieces & solder caps. Sad to see people only know how to make use of nature but forgot to taking care of. Not sure it’s only certain period.

White sand & blue water, nearly three-kilometer-long beautiful beach, many tourists were enjoying the sun, sea & sand. A lot of restaurants & hotels were at the side. We rode a speed boat to reach the parasailing platform, a bit inside the sea. We were briefed about the activities like parasailing, see bed walking, banana boat, water moped etc. each with its price tag. We loved our first experience of parasailing over the sea, it was wonderful & safe, optional deliberate dipping in sea water was a great experience for me.

It's a busy beach with plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes. September, though, is monsoon season so the water is dark and gloomy. Nevertheless, busy and crowded.

We’re regular visitors to Pattaya and generally stay in one of the beach road hotels with good pools. Our previous visit was in April 2019 - and we’ve seldom visited the beach (wasn’t a particularly welcoming beach)… but on our most recent visit 18-29 July 2022 we were surprised at how clean the beach was; how clean the water was and so regularly visited the beach. The water is amazingly warm and the waves are not as wild as most other beaches in Thailand. Actually very calm waters. For swimming in the sea - we regularly went late afternoon 4:30pm (once the sun wasn’t too hot) and would generally be in the water until around 7:30pm (quite dark by then but good flood lighting on the beach). In the late night I would mostly walk on the beach (warm waters even at 1 or 2 am) into the early hours of the morning. Felt very safe and comfortable (there’s still quite a few people on the beach then). The area around the Hard Rock Hotel is where we mostly swam. Very nice. Definitely recommended.

The whole 3 kilometres along the beach is full of hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops. U can also go for some water sport activities from here..

This beach of Thailand is very popular to foreign travellers. Speed boat riding, parasailing, sunbathe & many activities available here. Not suitable for those who loves nature than crowd.

Splendid beach, with great road and shops parallel to the beach. The road side shops have the best fruits and smoothies to enjoy while enjoying the view of the sea. There are beach chairs provided that are charged THB 50 which is worth every penny. I would recommend to visit STALL NO 115 (photo provided). They are so sweet and welcoming that anyone will have a great time relaxing. Try different fruit smoothies, mango (cut) and coconut.

I wanted this beach to be awesome, sadly it is not. Its a fairly narrow strip of fairly dirty sand that's populated with Russian tourists at a ratio of 9 Russians to 1of anybody else. Very commercialized, full of watercraft, banana boats and strange lane-lines that separate the water. The water is pretty dirty and polluted with all kinds of refuse, mostly plastic and Styrofoam. Not a very scenic place, im sad to say.

This is a nice beach. It has got shacks which offer food, drinks and beach chairs for relaxing. There is permanent market opposite the road. The beach is clean and long. A real shame they don't look after the sea. This could be a really amazing beach but it's heavily polluted and full of sewage waste. I would definitely not swim in this sea. Jomiten beach Isn't that far and is a little better but that's your own risk. Stay away from hiring anything in the sea loads of scams. It's a nice walk down the beach. It does have a lot of unwanted folk at night time so just be careful. Check out Pattaya beer garden at night time for some nice views whilst eating. Worth a visit.

Had a long wall even it keeps raining everyday. The chairs by the beach walk are not free, I found 50bhat for whole day but some are renting it for 100 bhat or more. Don't hesitate to negotiate. There are also locals renting jetski and offer other water fun activities. Check online it's cheaper and decide which has good offer.

Very under rated Beach! Great service from the people you rent loungers from. The ones I used was very honest, I gave them a 500 baht note instead of 100 baht, they returned it and took the 100 note. Support the hawkers! Life is tough, they're wonderful people.

Shawerma roll available. Vegetarians can try banana pancake and mango pancake also available egg pancake which is like egg veechu in South India. We couldn't get the washroom facility anywhere near and we went to the beside hotel and they charged 20Bhats for using their toilet.

Central Pattaya is also famous for its spectacular view of sunset. Nice sunset to be seen here. Good for a walk or jogging along the promenade and also enjoyable moments just sipping a drinking while enjoying a longchair at one of the many options all along. Street vendors of all kind (food, handcraft, painting, tattoos) are available on the beach from the morning to everyone every day...... You can find all the activities if you get bored like jetski, banana ride, etc... Only downpoint, not good at all for swimming....

A central point of Pattaya. The beach is nice and clean with good quality sand. Good for a walk or jogging along the beach sidewalk. You can also enjoy the beach by just drinking and rent the long beach chair. You can also find the water sport here like banana boat, jetski ride, etc. When sunset come, its nice to be seen here by sitting in the sand like many other people do. The beachfront was lined with a variety of restaurants, bars, and cafes. Oberall, Pattaya Beach is versatile destination suitable for all types of travelers.
