The experience was really bad for so many reasons: 1. The hallways smell of cigarettes 2. The double bed is a too small for 2 adults to sleep properly 3. The mattress was sooooo bad, I have back and neck pain after sleeping there for 3 nights 4. We did not have electricity for almost 24 hrs in our rooms 5. The walls are thin, so if you get a loud neighbor like I did, you can hear all their conversations 6. There is mold on the shower slide door 7. The Towels had brown stains The only good thing is the location, that's it. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

The photos are not relevant to that particular hotel. Upon arrival the hotel was closed, no one at the reception, no one was answering the phone, the lights were off. After an hour of phone calls to travel agents I was informed that there was a code to a key box and that I would be able to access my room after collecting the key from the key box. This was never communicated with me and was rather annoying as I wanted to quickly get on with the check in.

Welk, since the Hotel doesn t offer breakfast anymore, it is difficult to verify the breakfast pictures. There is a bakery about 200 mezers feom the Hotel. Since the Hotel is located between two other houses, I have to admit that I did not see an outdoor pool at all. My room was small. The toilet is difficult to use, because there is very limited space between the toilet and the shower: just enough to sit... (single room)...

When I booked this hotel on booking.com I wrote a message to the hotel asking to confirm if parking and pets would be an additional charge. The room was advertised at £40 and I clearly stated in my message to them that if there were additional charges I would not want to stay there as we have a specific budget that we were working with. On the website, I tried to “pay later” but the site would not allow me to do so, therefor I had to “pay now” and make the reservation. I received an email straight back from the hotel stating that there would not be any additional charges for my requests. A few minutes later I received another email stating that there is a parking charge of €8.50 per night and a pet cleaning fee of €9 which would’ve added an additional 30% to the total price! We called the hotel and asked to cancel but they refused. We then called Booking.com in the hopes they could help us cancel the booking. We’ve explained that we felt that the hotel forced us into booking before we could get an answer to our questions and it felt extremely desperate. We literally had JUST made the booking. Booking.com called the hotel 3 times on our behalf but they wouldn’t give us a refund and said that they would charge us regardless if we show or don’t show. Although they offered to waive the pet and parking fee, we were no longer comfortable staying there. We didn’t have another choice though as options in the area were limited. When we checked in, the entire hotel smelled like smoke, it was gross! The receptionist acted awkward toward us which made us feel completely out of place and even more uncomfortable. He also stood in front of the main building door smoking and dragging in that nasty smell which we found very unprofessional and sickening. When we got our keys, we inspected the room. The toilet had NOT been cleaned and it looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in weeks! There were urine staines all over it- see picture below. We went downstairs, showed the picture to the receptionist but he didn’t even say anything - no apology, no nothing- he gave us a key to another room. When we inspected the new room, we noticed staines on the bed sheets and pillows, some of which were black and others looked like dried blood. Note - this is my worst nightmare. I literally felt sick to my stomach. Luckily we had a blanket in the car that we put on top of the sheets and we used our own pillows that we brought for camping. I could barely fall asleep, that’s how disgusted I was. The room was quite small and quite uncomfortable for a couple and a dog. The nightstand lamps were made from the cheapest plastic material, just a disgrace really. If I can say anything slightly positive about this place- it’s the price. But... you get what you pay for- which in this case is very accurate. Although I must say that we had stayed at an amazing place for the same money in Germany a few days prior, so in all reality it wasn’t all that great value for money if you ask me. There were literally no other people staying at the hotel at the time we were there. This makes me realise that they were extremely desperate for money and hence wouldn’t let us cancel our reservation. Nothing else makes sense. At the time of check out which for us was at 10am (normally 11am), no soul could be found in the hotel. We were hoping to pick up an invoice but the reception was closed. To sum it all up - I really hope our £40 were worth a BAD review!! I would never ever stay at this place again and would recommend that you think twice before booking. Have a look on AirBnB- you can get an entire apartment for a few bucks more. 🤙🏼

It was a very bad experience for several reasons. 1. My 5 year old daughter had to pay for breakfast even though the website says children up to 6 years eat for free. The receptionist´s comment was "I´m sorry, I can´t take it back anymore. Just take some food for the road when you go." 2. Breakfast was very poor and absolutely not worth the 9.80 p.P or the 5 Euros for children at all. 3. The room we stayed in was smoked in and smelled terribly of cold cigarettes ; there was no way of getting it out by opening the window. Reception said there was nothing they could do and had me stay there with my child. That is really bad customer service. There is always something that can be done. 4. The photos on their website don´t do any justice to reality. The main photo of the building is not the one of the hotel but of the building opposite. That is wrong advertising.

A very nice place, close to the Center, it's cheap, very clean, free parking is available if you can find a spot on the street, as we did, they have take away breakfast for 3,5€, and also serve regular breakfasts and dinners. The rooms are very-very small, I hardly could use the bathroom, but just to sleep there one night it's enough.

Decent hotel for the cost. Nearby train station, nearby city centre. Although they do not have room service, the staff is really helpful and will provide you with whatever necessary. You need to go to the cafeteria and ask them. We skipped the breakfast as there are not many options for vegetarians. Also as the city centre is close by, lot of cafes to chose from for breakfast.Wouldnt hesitate to stay there in the future as well.

Severely understaffed. Front desk and doors close after 7:30 PM and customers must use a key to open the backdoor to get in. I was checking out on Sunday September 11, 2022 and nobody was at the front desk at 9 AM.

The hotel was very quiet despite being on a main road. The room was a good size but never seen such a small bathroom ever! Lift to all floors. Park on the street outside the hotel, its free between 7pm and 9am. Short drive into Aachen centre. The bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were friendly. It was fine for one night which was what we stayed. The hotel is also very very clean in all areas.

Negatives. No breakfast, having to use side door to gain access. Reception stunk of cigarette smoke on arrival. Tiny rooms. Do not be fooled by the pictures, they are not here. Really loud outside. Plus, hot shower.

Relatively affordable rooms compared to most hotels in similar locations. Though the WiFi kept tripping...I ended up using my own mobile Internet the whole time I was at the hotel room.

stayed in this hotel for 3 days in the fall of 2021. an ordinary cheap hotel, with my low budget at that time, an absolutely normal adequate price / quality ratio. convenient location near the center.

Broken bed. Dirty room (hair against the walls of the shower) mold. Would nog call this a hotel. Rather an hostel with own rooms. Price definately aint worth the quality

You get, what you pay for; if you pay Peanuts, you get Monkeys. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.
