This place immediately caught my attention, I had to stop for a beer and I loved it. This is one of the many examples of repurposed churches in the Netherlands, I never had the chance to bump into a brewery though so for me it was kind of a surprise. It's always a surprise to enter a church and find something else to be honest. I had a pilsner for €3,30 and once back from my walk at the Amsterdamse Bos nearby, I had dinner with a supadupalicious vegan burger and fries (the mayo was yummy!). I give 5 stars :) the service is top too. Well done guys

Great place. Church turned into brewery with bar restaurant. Friendly staff, great beer menu, incredible space and a very good vibe. Family friendly and all 'beach' outside. One of the most interesting places in Amstelveen.

Great atmosphere, good food, and most of all great home brewed beer. Service and people are great, engaging and very friendly. The decorations are a great mixture of new and old, and worth the experience. They have regular tours inside the church where you get to hear more about the history, and taste the beer they brew.

Lovely church turned into a a brewery. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, very spacious, nice sized inside area and patio. Beer was just ok but this place is still fairly new. Lots of potential to be a great venue, I'll check it out again soon.

It doesn't seem normal to me that the friend serving at the bar returns to the bar and serves without washing his hands after going to the toilet. (I think he waits in the cabin without doing anything and does not come out) The rest is fine, but eating in a place where hygiene is not taken into consideration is not my cup of tea.

Good old pub like food! You feel like you’re walking into history as you enter the church turned restaurant. Service was good and we really enjoyed our meals! Great experience!

A wonderful location for a brewery and bar, the beer and other drinks are great too. As there is already good photos of the bar, I’ve added a heron that flew over the beer garden. Update:01.10.22 My partner enjoyed very nice burger and I had a great steak last night.

Great place. The ambience and service is very good (in Dutch standards). The menu has a big room for improvement. Currently we only liked hamburgers option but bear options are rich and good. Considering the poor restaurant ecosystem of Amstelveen, I think Anna Church is the only option to take guests. So I m giving 5 stars for encouragement.

Great, unique place to have their locally brewed beers or a delicious classic burger. The church venue makes this experience really special. The retro furnitures and interior give the place extra cosiness. We had great time there and will come back for sure!

I love this beautiful church that has been transformed into a brewery. It is a gorgeous venue and often I got to hold ladies nights here with my friends. The Anna staff are always very accommodating and the service tends to be top notch every time I’ve visited. I am not a huge beer drinker so I can’t comment to the beers here on a level that some may expect… having said that I’ve tasted several and I can truly say with the wide variety here that there is something for everyone. If you are not a beer drinker of course they have other drinks to offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Food is offered here also and it does not disappoint. I believe the food menu changes for special events. For example, we went for their winter event and it was themed which was amazing. I also want to give a shout on the amount of fun themed events this place has and how they transform the inside of the church to meet each theme. Anyways I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. If you are local or visiting I suggest you visit!

A very cozy and nice cafe restaurant in an old church. They also craft their own beer which tasted good. When I was leaving, a performance started which should have been cool

What a stunning place! Could not stay for dinner, but surely the place is worth a visit, or 2, or 3...hope to come back there soon.

The Food was simply uneatable! The place is lovely decorated. Great beers. I ordered the fish of the day and my wife the eggplant lasagna. It came after 50 min. My fish came swimming in a poddle of a mess and water. There was bad taste to everything other than the fries. The eggplant lasagna came as two halfs of an eggplant with some tomato sauce and some cold parmesan on it. The eggplant was hard to the point of not being able to cut through it with a knife. The taste was simply awful. We almost didn't eat anything from our plates. The waitress was nice and asked why didn't we eat and we explained to her that it's simply not eatable and we were sooo hungry.. She took our full plates and came back with an offer of free tea or coffee as a compensation... we refused and told her that we are going to eat somewhere else since we are still hungry. Nothing seemed to bother them and we ended paying 24 euros for the fish and 18 euros for the eggplant lasagna. Really awful customer service.

Excellent beers to be consumed in a sacred environment. There are nice bites and dishes that can be ordered to go with the home brewn beers. Inside the church, or outside on the sunny "beach".

Amazing choice to go with friends and family. The place is beautiful; the staff is super friendly and helpful; the food is great, and the beers are exceptional. You can’t go wrong going there! I’ll definitely come back!

Very good microbrewery in a monumental old church building. Dozens of beers on draft, also excellent pubfood available. I love this place!

This is a nice place to go and hang out. If you have kids there are spots for them to be, well, kids. The food is good. The interior is inviting and relaxing. Don't be in a hurry here. Soak it up.

Incredible place, it's really unusual experience to have some drinks while sitting in a beautiful church. Draught beers' selection is great.

Hidden gem, the beer is amazing and the staff is wonderful, I really recommend it. Try the calamari and the meatballs.
