We had to spend the night here due to a missed connection. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Restaurant was busy with many passengers who had missed their connections. Kudos to the staff who remained upbeat & friendly. Very professional with free drinks & desserts due to a longer than usual wait for our food. Rooms were immaculate

Again, the hotel is located conveniently to A4 highway and regular shuttle bus to Schiphol. In addition, good rooms and parking facilities. The restaurant has great fine dining, lots to choose from, and furthermore an extra Indian Asian kitchen based menu for those who are interested. Overall a great hotel for travelers

Spent one night here after not making my connecting flight. The hotel is a 15 minute ride with a direct bus from the airport. The room was amazing, bed was comfortable. Dinner was tasty, medium portion and breakfast was buffet style with a huge variety. Would recommend staying here if you need to spend a night near the airport.

I was lucky to stay in the newly renovated block.. Room is very spacious and nice amenities, location to Airport was excellent. Only 10mins and the Hotel has a 20mins free shuttle but to the Airport. Staff is respectful and helpful. Lobby is beautiful with lots of ambience. Highly recommend.

I have never left a hotel so soon after arriving. The place felt unsafe. On top of this it was dirty. We waited 45 minutes in the restaurant just to receive the chance to place an order. Avoid this place if you appreciate a calm and relaxing atmosphere because the whole reception area is one big party and so is the pool.

Das Hotel ist super schön gestaltet. Sehr stilvoll und großzügig. Die Zimmer sind auch recht groß und vor allem sehr sauber. Der Fitnessraum ist hell mit Fenstern und modernen Geräten. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden wiederkommen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind. Wir hatten das Deluxe Room.

Schönes und modern eingerichtetes Hotel! Kleiner Makel im Zimmer, es gibt nur auf einer Seite des Bettes USB-Anschlüsse. Außerdem fehlt im Bad eine Steckdose. Für die digitale Zeit also nicht so viele Möglichkeiten zum Laden des elektronischen Equipments. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Man sitzt hier sehr schön und kann aus einer ansprechenden Speisekarte wählen.

Really nice updated rooms in the new wing, with a lot of storage space for luggage and clothing. If you’re vegan you need to bring your own food and don’t bother with the buffet breakfast or dinner, almost no options, which is surprising in the Amsterdam especially at such an international airport. They do have soy milk in the kitchen that you can ask for if you want it for your coffee. Most of the bread is not vegan even though one staff member we asked didn’t know for sure and told us something wrong, which would have been terrible if we had a dairy allergy.

Hotel and rooms were nice. If you have an airline voucher, the lunch options are terrible but the breakfast is great! Very close to airport but nothing of interest nearby.

Great hotel for when you have to be at Schiphol Airport during the night hours. Transport to and from Schiphol is arranged with a single phone call. If you come to the hotel with your car, you can leave it at there during your vacation. Restaurant within the hotel is good! Menu has enough diversity. Waiters are friendly. You do need to speak English though, since most of the staff do not speak Dutch.

The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport every 40min. The hotel does not give courtesy water bottles to use the coffee machine in the room. All rooms have windows and terrace. The average room Is bigger than The average hotel rooms. The restaurant has breakfast and dinner service. I enjoyed my stay, a great hotel.

Unfortunately, my plane was canceled and it rained. The airline booked a hotel for all the passengers that day. They booked two rooms for us because we are three people, including a small child. We got to this hotel late because we got lost. We took the wrong bus because we arrived very tired. Also, my husband is diabetic and hypertensive. She spoke to us with strange looks and told us that after reading with another woman, only a room for them, after that we asked her about food because we spent almost 10 hours because of the airline and because of the illness of my child and my husband. About drinking water, she said you have to drink from the tap water. My husband discovered by chance that all the guests of this plane drank and ate there for free. I hope to hold this lady accountable and now I will appoint a lawyer to sue her.

Perfect hotel near Schiphol Mobile key didn't work hence the 4 stars in service. Dinner was fine, bar was great. Shuttle service was perfectly on time and our car was easily parked in a quiet spot

Customer service is not really something that the people working in this hotel care about. We were told that the rooms were ready but we still needed to pay the ealry check-in fee (2 hours before official check-in) to be able to store our luggage there (we did not want to use the room at this time, just to drop off the luggage). As there is no extra room as in any other hotel to store your luggage (only a few lockers that cost 2€ per hour), we were forced to pay the fee. They played "good cop, bad cop" with us, with the receptionist needing to check in with her manager about our requests and the manager of course declined them, so she could not do anything about it. It felt like they don't want you to enjoy your stay with them. Would not go to this hotel again.

It’s next to a Casino so if that’s your style, go for it. Huge hotel, very modern room’s. Breakfast was included and was great. I think this is well run hotel. Only here one night but it was very nice.

Being stranded in Amsterdam due to missing my connection - this hotel managed to make my stay very pleasant. Very helpful and polite staff, good service and food. From all the places I have ever been stranded at, this was actually enjoyable ;-)

Our flight got cancelled and we were booked in the Van der Valk Hotel and were very content with everything. The whole Design of the hotel is very stylish and comfortable at the same time. I also liked the high rooms, the generous space, tge swimmingpool to swim & the impressive breakfast buffet!

This splendid hotel is a 10 minute bus journey away from Schipol airport serviced by it's own shuttle service. The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Double-glazed windows keep out the sounds of the night and the reception staff are very attentive and quick. The bar is warmed by an open fire and the decor is high quality. The restaurant and it's staff are very well presented with some very good quality food. The hotel felt very quite and peaceful which was exactly what we wanted after a flight delay because of a terrible storm. The shower and bathroom were stylish and spotless, while the huge Dutch art in each room was eye-catching and classic. Overall a brilliant stay, even though it was short for us. Nearby there are some stores and other food places but the hotel was fully comprehensive for our needs. Breakfast service was vast, with fruits, meats, breads, salads, cheeses, drinks, pancakes, and everything you could wish for any palate. Excellent experience.

Amazing big, clean room. Free shuttle service was really a plus. During our stay, some renovation was being done. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, and hopefully they have completed the renovations.

Don’t usually stay in transit hotel but this is an impressive transit hotel. 10 minutes away of airport, the hotel doesn’t feel like an airport hotel. Big room, nice bed, although too high and too soft. The best part is dinner if you like to try their restaurant. The venue is grand, looks like an expensive resto, tried the steak. Best! Also the breakfast, the place is so big, and the selection is wide, you easily spend 1 hour for having breakfast here. Next time in Amsterdam, eventhough for holiday, can stay here just for the dinner and the breakfast.

The location is terrible In reality… hotel is connected to a motorway service station so it’s a mission to get to. Only saving grace is the hotels shuttle service but sadly I didn’t find this out until the second day. Public transport and hotel shuttle comes at the same time so that’s annoying… if you miss one you have a 40 minute wait till the next one. Other than that the hotel was a amazing :)

Although we stayed in a basic room, Van der Valk, is one of my favourite hotel brands. Excellent modern, spacious rooms, ideally located with a good road network just outside. The bathroom is clean, efficient. The use of emails to ask whether we needed room cleaning or wanted clean towels was new to us but certainly a useful tool. The service in the restaurant could certainly be improved although the food and drink quality is excellent. Overall a very positive and pleasant stay.

Love this hotel, the breakfast is amazing. Bars have great vibes 👌 rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable beds. Always use it when flying in the schiphol airport.

At first glance, the lobby with all its Christmas trees looked very inviting and let me hope for a 4* experience... However, once I opened the door of room 513, the smell of it broke the spell. In addition, it is very inconveniently located in the base ground, where people from the restaurant can look into your room and others are smoking and coughing outside your window door. The room amenities are really basic: instead of a wardrobe there is a metal bar with 5 hangers (in a double room) and right underneath a surface where suitcases can be laid (in any normal hotel this is usually in the entrance area, separate from the sleeping area, here it's just next to the bed (from hygienic point of view, not acceptable at all). When I asked to change the room for a non smelly one, I was told it's not possible and they could "send housekeeping to spray something". Rather than having "something " spayed, I decided to make use of my much more expensive eau de toilette. Last but not least... Having hoped that the amenities of a pretending 4* hotel would include bathrobe and slippers (there is also a pool and spa, wonder how the standard is there...), I was shocked when they asked me 2€ to buy a low cost pair of slippers, showing that the hotel even tries to earn on these... At least make them nice and branded, that anyway would make them cost less than 2€!!! Definitely not looking forward to spending three nights here... Have to adapt this time, but this is definitely not a hotel I would ever recommend to anyone.

The location is good with a nice shuttle service and a lot of restaurants just in front. I gave 3 stars because of the room itself : it was 28 degrees and broken AC, I had to open the windows all night. Shower is very old and too sensitive (touch 1mm and temperature is too cold or too hot). So the hotel is nice and the breakfast too, but I had an old bedroom really not like a 4 stars hotel.

The room size is big, bathroom is clean & neat (shower and closet are located separately), shower gel and shampoo are provided, coffee maker is available Facilities: swimming pool indoor, many gym tools available in the fitness center, outdoor fitness is also available (but I haven't checked it since it's winter) Breakfast: i looove how many options we get as the guest to eat. There's rice available, many tea options, jam & sauce, and many other options for breakfast. Delicious!

Stayed at this hotel for the night with dinner and breakfast buffet. The food was great. It had a good variety and lots of things to choose from. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean and nice. Not too far from the airport. This hotel has a swimming pool.

Beautiful place for spending time with family or friends. You can swim in pool, visit sauna, gym, outdoor gym, enjoy amazing nature, sit near fire place. Restaurant is something unbelievable - various delicious dishes for every taste, fruits, desserts, drinks. Very professional and polite personal. Very tidy, comfortable and clean rooms.

Delayed flights and missed connections led us to spend the night here, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including telling us how early to get to the airport (thank you--the security line was crazy long) and a stranded bag with essential toiletries (also appreciated since our toothbrushes were in our checked bags at the airport). The room was perfectly clean, the shower stall and tub most spacious, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed/pillow I've experienced to date. We were jet lagged, tired, and stressed about the change of travel plans, but this hotel was everything we needed to rest, relax, and recover, and it helped us fully enjoy the rest of our trip. We're honestly sad we only stayed here for one unplanned night, but we're planning on returning whenever we're in Amsterdam next. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast and look forward to trying the rest of their food the next time we're here.

With the exception of the location, somewhat stranded out in the middle of nowhere, this is a great hotel. Rooms are clean with a very open plan bathroom. Wellness facilities are A-grade, the pool, Turkish bath, steam room, and IR sauna are are fantastic. Reception staff are attentive, the reality is this is a very busy hotel, and even with the 6-7 staff at reception, check-in/out can be a bit of a wait at some times. Onsite bar and restaurant are both very nice. Big call out to Arthur, manager in the restaurant, great front of house skill and very personable. Arthur also did a top job of running the event party for our very large group (+250 pax).

Every member of staff in amazing. Stayed in many hotels in Amsterdam and all over Holland this is up there with the best. Room was very clean, and the facilities are very good. The pool is clean and it's never too busy you can't use. They also section off an area for swimmers in the morning so people can relax or swim. I slept in and missed my flight on Saturday, the staff couldn't of done more to put me in the same room for the night.

Very very enjoyable stay. A long walk to find the room , but well worth the cost. Breakfast was perfect and a massive chose. Top notch experience. Will be staying again .

Stayed here because flight was cancelled. Very nice hotel. Very good food. A little in the middle of nowhere compared to where we stayed before, close to Amsterdam downtown. However you can take the shuttle to the airport and go to Amsterdam if needed

Massive renovated hotel, next to the highway, plenty of services including outdoor sports facilities and indoor pool, well communicated to the airport with frequent big enough shuttle available but far from everything else. Rooms are great and clean, beds are really comfortable, and food offering and bar service are awesome, they did have gluten free options at the hotel restaurant and breakfast, but lack of gluten free beer at the bar. Everyone was trained and offer gluten free alternatives/options. Reception refused to provide city taxes receipt on checkout.. but overall their attention was good.

This hotel has been renovated a while back and is now a great place to stay. Spacious room, excellent bathroom with a perfect walk-in shower. Very good breakfast buffet. Only drawback is the parking. Very narrow places and very full.

My flight was delayed, so I had to stay at his hotel and I was impressed. I had a great experience here. The staff is very friendly and they offer you support whenever you need it. The rooms are great and very clean. And the food is delicious.

A 10 minute transfer from Schipol airport, fantastic hotel - very clean and welcoming, restaurant serves high quality food, and the hotel has a gym and pool onsite. Room are very modern and well kept. There's a garden at the rear with a tennis court which you can walk around if stuck for something to do!

The hotel is excellent for people connecting in Amsterdam or stranded in the airport area. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff is really friendly. The only negative aspect is that the beds aren't comfy at all, thus okay for a night of sleep or planning ahead of a flight.

Fantastic hotel 5 minutes from the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. I wouldn't stay here if I were visiting the Amsterdam city center as a tourist, but we had an unexpected layover and this place was a dream. Front door shuttle service to and from the airport, great breakfast and dinner buffets, as well as a bar/brasserie. The service was always polite and kind. Pluses for the comfortable beds, wonderful rain showers, and hot tub jetted bathtub, and clean rooms that are recently remodeled. 24 hour snacks and sodas for those late-night wakings. Overall a fantastic experience for an unexpected stay. Seems like a great spot for business conferences and events.

The renovation is great! I loved the new colours and lounge areas. Food most of the time was excellent. I really loved the feature of the light under the bed! Not the greatest area but, shuttle bus twice per hour to the airport and back to the hotel is good service.

The Air Conditioned in the room was not working. I asked the staff to fixed it up but they said no engineer standby. And no solution been given. It was very hot during summer time with no AC in the room whole night.

Missed our connecting flights due to delays. KLM sent us to this hotel with a voucher. Pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel is in the inside. Spacious, clean and modernly decorated. The restaurant has an excellent dinner buffet. We took our time as we had nowhere to go with no luggage! It was a headache to have to spend the night and delay our trip home but the hotel made our experience less terrible. Layout is a bit odd due to renovations but all of the staff have been very helpful and friendly.

Very nice and clean hotel. There is a coffee maker in the room, a bath and a shower in the bathroom. Despite the renovation downstairs, the hotel is very good. Tasty food in the restaurant and free transfer to the airport. I recommend.

Excellent location with great facilities! Free shuttle bus to and from the airport make this a great choice for short trips in Amsterdam. Pool, gym, restaurants and conference area are all top notch. Exquisite and unique interior design coupled with user friendly amenities show how much thought are put into the design of the entire hotel. Food in their restaurants and cafe are top notch. Ample parking space is available for guests if one choose to rent a car. Wifi is FOC too 😊

Ended up here due to an unscheduled layover. Room was very nice, only thing was it was 2 singles pushed together so a slight pain. Sadly I got there late and had to leave early but looked like a nice pool and gym facilities and as a runner I was very happy to see the running map

Fantastic hotel. We got sent here as "stranded passengers" and were amazed. Luckily we had a bit of time to walk around the nice grounds outside as it was summer. The buffet breakfast was the largest and most diverse that we have ever seen. This is the place to go if you are somehow stuck at the airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool. Shuttle bus every 40 mins.

Beautiful hotel & rooms, very friendly staff. Wish we known about the shuttle bus to and from the airport upon arrival, would have saved the hassell of a bus but for any other travellers, you can get the transfer from the airport shuttle area for the hotel for free, every 20-40 minutes. Well worth doing, only downfall to this hotel is it is on s motorway and the connection bridge closes at 11pm, this meant that the last possible time to get back was the 11:40pm shuttle as the bus only goes to the otherside of the motorway which meant you'd be stranded.

Good place to stay but here staffs looks like they don’t want to work but someone is forcing them anonymously. I’ve never seen them to smile . I was here only for 1 night by KLM airlines because my flight was cancelled and airlines company offered this hotel . So I have a free food coupon or voucher. When I went to eat in the restaurant, and when the restaurant manager saw the food coupon, his smile vanished dramatically from his face , was astonishing , why ? Then , super slow , waiter coming slowly, serving annoyingly, maybe because of the free coupon. Overall, experience isn’t good from this place .
