Lovely cosy theater and concert venue. There's something fun about having Schiphol airport's air traffic above you while you're enjoying a gig.

Went to the open air movies, it was amazing! The whole place has a lovely vibe, reminded me a bit of Oerol on Terschelling. And the forest film festival was also very well organized by Cinetree! Overall I had a lovely night and would definitely recommend going there!! Beers are a tad expensive but where aren’t they in Amsterdam lol

Positive: Good music, beautiful location. Feels a bit like a festival. The staff was nice. Negative: There is no internet service, there are planes flying over continuously, you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drinks, location is hard to reach with public transport (you might need to walk >30 minutes to the bus stop), the audience won’t allow you to sit even if there’s a free spot. The wooden benches are not comfortable and people behind you put their feet in your back. Also it gets cold at night.

If you are visiting Amsterdam during summer, a trip to the Amsterdamse Bostheater is a very nice, fairytale like happening. Its a amfitheater, hidden in the forest. Just buy a ticket. If you can inderstand the dutch play or not, the evening will be a magical one.

Great venue. Nice ambiance. But do not forget to bring cushions to put on the benches. There were pretty wet.

Amazing experience being there! My girlfriend and I went to see a concert and it was amazing! Just sitting in the forrest listening not live music is such a special feeling and I'm happy I could experience this! The food and drinks are nice as well. Bit experience but good. I also tried a cocktail and it tasted amazing! It was sweet with a punch!

Came here for a concert and the vibe is incredible. Bring a pillow though because the wooden benches aren't that comfortable

Amazing location, the vibe is relaxed and open. Lots of artists fall in love with the venue because of its mystic atmosphere. The pictures below are taken at a Morcheeba concert at this venue.

Beautiful place. The service could do better though. Which is all in the details. As such: giving a poncho to people if needed could be a nice gesture to give for free to the visitors. Instead of making the visitors wait in disorganized lines to purchase them for 3euros while its raining. Why it would be a nice gesture: 1) its open air venue 2) umbrellas are not allowed 3) they cost like 30 cents and visitors already payed a lot for the tickets
