It's a beautiful lake. No access to swimming there. There's lots of water lilies pads. Around the lake there are different walking trails. Also in 2 sections around the lake there's a kids play area and a kids water splash park. Nice area to do a picnic as well. There are washrooms. Lots of parking spots available.

It's beautiful here. I love our lake in the middle of town. All the ducks and geese, lily pads and fish. I enjoy the walk all the way around, and thank you, Abbotsford, for finally putting in a fountain. Now let's get some colored lights for at night πŸŒ™

Absolutely wonderful park to walk around with the family. Lots of playgrounds and smooth trails around the gorgeous lake. We went after the GeoWoodstock event and had a great time in the sunset lighting. Lots of geese, ducks, and blackberries!!

Nice 45 minute walk around the lake. Dogs permitted on leash only. Kids parks, seating, picnic tables (some covered) garbage cans and restrooms around walkway. Beautiful large trees, lots of ducks and geese. A small wharf with seating by a small parking lot. Signs up for trails. Two trails...1 is paved and the other is parallel closer to the lakes edge covered in bark mulch. Not safe to walk in the dark but safe during the day as other walkers of all ages are walking the trail. Lake is not for swimming but you can do some fishing. Large water feature in the middle of the lake. No place to grab food or drink along the trail. Nice place to walk (preferably not alone)

Its a beautiful park with parking available for free with a time limit of 2-3hrs. It opens around 6am and closes at 10pm. There's a deck where you can fish from and a couple of people do catch good sized fish, make sure you get your fishing permit. Lots of geese and ducks are around so keep your pets on a leash. The water isn't conducive for swimming. The ambience is nice, lots of walking paths and tree trails. It also has a water park for you to get wet when it's getting too hot or just for the fun of it. Kids love this. There is also a professional swimming pool and competitions are held here sometimes, at least there was one while I was there. Different people come here for different things. Walk, bike, run, read, picnic, etc. I saw an Indian worship group spreading some spirituality and they gave me a free yoga pamphlet. It is definitely worth visiting!

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family on a nice sunny day. Me and my husband usually come here for an after dinner walk. We love how relaxed and serene the atmosphere here. Bicycles are allowed here, pets on a leash are allowed except by the playground area. Washrooms are available and picnic tables are all over the place as well as benches. It’s a good 30-45 minute walk if you do the full circle. I like the bridge area the most especially during sunset. Also, I have seen a few men fishing by the dock and I have asked them what fishes are usually caught and they said it’s mostly trouts here. So, if you like to fish you can try it here. A lot of geese all over the place so watch out for land mines! Lol! Parking may be a challenge during peak hours. This place is friendly to all ages, wheelchair and stroller accessible!

Good for all ages whether you want to walk or take your kids to one of the three excellent playgrounds. The boardwalk is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ducks.

Beautiful park with a 2.5 km looped walking trail around the lake. You can see Mt Baker in the distance and there are benches and picnic tables around the park where you can sit and enjoy the view. There are parking lots scattered in different parts of the park and a big playground for kids next to each lot. Very clean and close to residential neighbourhoods. This is a beautiful park to visit for families, friends, and lovers.

Beautiful walk around this lake. Painted turtles, cobra chickens, ducks, herons, and dogs. It's all here. Kids and adults alike are seen fishing. There are a few playgrounds, a pool, lots of picnic tables, and there are restrooms as well. Parking can be tricky at peak times.

Fairly nice park with pretty views. Paths are paved. Lots of parks along the loop, with playgrounds, washrooms, benches, and parking. Also a place to fish aswell as a boat ramp. Expect to see lots of ducks, birds and squirrels. Sadly a lot of homeless hanging out and camping in the area. Was approached multiple times while walking the loop which made me a bit uncomfortable as a young woman. Maybe not the best place to walk alone.

The park is beautiful, well maintained and has a lot of nature. It is family and pet friendly. It has public bathrooms. It is a good place to practice many different sports including jogging and running. Also good for a picnic or to enjoy good time outside with family, pets and friends. The only thing preventing it to be 5 stars is that it does not have lights enough to enjoy it when it is dark.

Found this park and lake while driving around our new neighborhood shortly after we moved to Abbotsford. Nice size park with plenty of picnic spaces for everyone, the lake is stocked with fish each year so you can fish from the dock near the parking lot or from The shore line for bass and trout. The children's area on one side of the park has a Waterpark, and on the otherside a children's play area along with a horseshoe court and outdoor exercise equipment. The entire path around the lake is pet friendly and an easy stroll for all family members including strollers or wheelchairs, except for the decking and bridge area of the trail that has some stairs. The big downside is the Canadian geese while I have never seen them get particularly aggressive yet there are alot of them, and where there are alot of geese... well let's just say watch where you are stepping...lol But a great place for a afternoon walk, it takes approximately 30 to 40mins to walk around the lake area.

The park is amazing, beautiful. It has a fantastic kids play area, tons of wildlife. You can walk a path around the whole like, it's about a mile. You will definitely enjoy park experience. If you are interested in attending a Christian church, they have a great Sunday thing that extends about 11 am to 1230 roughly. Enjoy πŸ˜‰

A beautiful lake/pond with a paved walking path all the way around (handicap accessible) and plenty of space for walking and picnics. It takes about 15-25 minutes to walk around, depending on walking speed. There are plenty of benches and table to stop at and watch the ducks and geese, and all the dogs out for a walk. Several nice playgrounds are found on different sides of the lake as well.

Very good lake just like Lake Ontario Found many miniature islands owned by Abbotsford police department. Loved the whole lake as it freezes in winter and shoppi carts are found submerged when you go fishing here

Nice little park, can get a bit crowded on sunny days. But great for a 25-45 min walk around the lake. Lots of ducks, a cute little art gallery, a few cool playgrounds, lots of dog spottings πŸ˜‰

A poem about my time at mill lake A walk in the park is a pleasure to do, When a visit to one is long overdue, To take the dogs too, is really great, For the exercise is just first rate. The peacefulness can be very strange, For quietness is such a change From all the traffic rushing by, The decibels get really high. We have to live with constant noise, That often takes away the joys And contentment, that a walk can give us. We've got to count is as a real plus.

Introduced by my friend who we used to work together for an organization that is based in Abbotsford, BC. After discovering this lovely lakeside park, we have been bring our beloved Daisy here whenever we are in the area, I recall she used to love watching the ducks & other wildlife going about their business. Later when Daisy is not able to walk the distance, we would take her here in her stroller, the path along the lake is well paved and offers different vantage point for a lovely walk. Now that Daisy is on the other side of the rainbow, I am sure she would be happy that we are still coming here from time to time! Parking is abundant, & a very dog friendly park! Be a responsible dog owner and always clean up after!!

The walk around the park is so pretty and a good workout! Well maintained and full of people so it feels safe. It does clear out quickly after dark, so bring a flashlight!

Beautiful with lilies in water and long walk near the water and through the park. Open gym for elderly as well as for anyone. Loved it except a little smell of damp some places.
