Overall, it was a nice place. The zoo has more animals than UI. Many places to eat inside. You can't swim in the swimming pool without wearing a swimming cap.

The artificial Lake is ideal for water fun lovers, lovely environment and great ambience. Initially I thought the boats were going to be faster but they weren’t, upon making enquiries we were told the slow speed of the boats is to protect the 54,000 fishes whose breeding habitat is the man made lake. The SlowSpeed boats are therapeutic by the way.

OPL has a resort, amusement park, zoo, and bar in the premises. The amusement park has quite a number of games kids can enjoy, including rollercoasters. There is also paintball and medium size football pitch. There is a nice and beautiful bamboo bar/lounge. The place gives a nice and natural ambiance. And there, there is a wildlife park. The place has a decent number of animals, including Lion, Python, Hyenas, etc.

This is one for the history books, I totally didn’t expect the experience I had going in. Don’t mistake this for a book library, it’s more a documentary into the military and private life of Olusegun Obasanjo. It’s a well thought out process, with modern facilities, from different cars he rode in for different events, to military training choppers, armoured tanks and a naval ship he acquired for war, to memorabilia of his life. You’re not allowed to take pictures in the building so I can’t grace you with the beautiful pictures and tbh, it’s better you see it yourselves. There are ‘edutaining’ activities for kids so feel free to take them as they’re not left out. Our guide was Michael and he didn’t spare us any details, so ask for him.

Very nice initiative here. The tour guide did a wonderful job. Most department were on duty except for a few. I hope and pray it is preserved and well maintained. I also love that French Language was incorporated in some illustrations.

The Obasanjo Presidential Library is an imposing complex situated on a high ground within a sprawling estate housing other facilities owned by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The Library is a multi-storey building manned by security officers at the back entrance where visitors to the former President are usually welcome and ushered in. Access to the floors is highly restricted except by prior appointment. On my visit there recently, I was not privileged to gain access into the library to be able to view the contents. So, I could only see the exterior. Hopefully, my next visit will afford me the access to the interior floors to view the much talked about massive collection of books, pictures and other interesting contents found in a presidential library.

I was looking for a place where I could spend some time with my wife and be able to enjoy different entertainment and recreation. I choose Obasanjo Library. The library was my last visit point. Baba Obasanjo's speech was what got me inspired. I felt hope for my fatherland. I don't want to share the detailed experience, visit it yourself with your family and thank me later. You can lodge at the Legacy hotel, a nice place to stay in.
