It was built around 2490 BC for Pharaoh Userkaf, founder of the Fifth Egyptian Dynasty. It is located in the Saqqara pyramids, to the northeast of the pyramid of Djoser, the pyramid was built using stones and rubble for the foundation.

It’s so much information to take it - you need a lot of time to sit and enjoy it all. Try and do it yourself if you can

It was built around 2490 BC for Pharaoh Userkaf, founder of the Fifth Egyptian Dynasty. It is located within the range of the pyramids of Saqqara to the northeast of the pyramid of Djoser. The pyramid was built using stones and rubble for the foundation. The pyramid is now destroyed and resembles a conical hill in the sands of Saqqara, a wonderful placeFrom the outside, the pyramid looks like a large pile of rubble. But it's still worth a visit! The corridors and the burial chamber are decorated from the inside (in contrast to the pyramids of Giza), and the pyramid is right next to the step pyramid. Early in the morning there are no crowds here and you can look at everything in peace.

One of the smaller pyramids in the main Saqqara area known as the ruined Pyramid. This may not be the case anymore, but when I visited the tomb was open and visitors with a guide were permitted to enter and climb down under the structure to the burial chamber,

I wouldn't say the Pyramid of Userkaf is off the tourist trail, but it is certainly more adventurous entering this Pyramid. You cannot access it from the Step pyramid. Remember, to go around and come on the road from the ticket office!
