Ice cream parlour with absolutely loads of different flavoured ice cream to choose from. Some great cone selections, too. Parking can be an issue and I suggest parking down a side road off the double yellows. Clean, modern toilet inside. Eating inside and outside is available. Prices are above average. Friendly staff.

Visited for an ice cream on the way home from a meal. Lovely ice creams and just one scoop in a cone is plenty!! Really enjoyed our ice creams. Great selection of flavours and toppings and different cones. Only issue is parking, would be much better if they had their own parking instead of customers having to park down the main road or miles away.

Travelled a fair way to try the ice cream as it came highly recommended. I had cookies and cream and a chocolate iced cream Place has a queue and it’s near a canal so somewhere to walk whilst having the ice cream. Staff were nice but the ice cream wasn’t for me. It was ok. I wouldn’t say it was anything unique. Price is ok and the flavours are varied.

The best flavoured ice cream! Always a lovely stop on a walk or bike ride along the canal. Staff are polite and helpful, and the ice cream is just amazing and so many flavours to choose from. Current favourites are orange choc chip and banana choc chip. Husband loves rum and raisin.

Fascinating history to this remarkable ice-cream parlour. Not only that but excellent ice-cream with some 40 flavours in the shop, and I believe a total of 120 in their listings. I would certainly revisit. My only negative comment were the sticky tables and arms of chairs outside.

We've been wanting to go here for ages and it was definitely worth the wait! It's some of the best ice cream I've ever had and there were so many flavours to choose from. Definitely worth the hype, hopefully we can return soon!

Absolutely delicious ice cream 🍨🍦 Very friendly and polite staff. We was waiting in the queue, but taste of ice cream was worth that. I recommend pistachio, kiwi and mango with strawberry sauce 😋😋😛

Best ice cream in this area. Plenty of ice cream favour and cones. It’s not expensive with this quality. You can go for a walk behind’s ice cream shop as well.

Nice little ice cream parlor, was very busy on a hot day but served pretty quickly. Theres lots to choose from, with lots of traditional and contemporary options. Went for a two scoop banana chip cone and it was pretty tasty, if you like the artificial banana flavour it was good, I had an oat coffee to go too, that was okay but enjoyed the ice cream, nice treat on a hot day like today.

Delicious ice cream from legendary local producer. What more can be said about Frederick's than hasn't already been said? Their ice cream is top notch, loads of flavour options, all of them absolutely delicious. Their in-store dessert options are also excellent. If you're driving past and there isn't a huge queue down the road, make sure you stop and get yourself a cone. You might as well, it's brilliant.

Absolutely love coming here for their delicious ice-creams! Can't ever go wrong especially with all the fun and exciting range of flavours. You do have to wait a while in the summer as it gets quite busy but it is totally worth it!

Yum ! Place to grab ice creams. Njoi a sweet treats at this place. Beautiful drive to get to this place. Great selection and huge varieties of ice creams , shakes. The takeaway tubs also have fresh ice creams. Parking is available along side of road.

Promised the kids a treat here for ages but there's always a massive cue in the warmer months. We visited last week but was still busy. Prices aren't to bad at all. Coffee was lovely and kids and hubbies enjoyed their ice creams. Plenty flavours to choose from I'd say around 40 different flavours

This is a lovely ice cream parlour We've been here many times over the years. It's well priced. The ice cream is fantastic. The kids love it. I don't know if they still do it with. They used to have lots of novelty cups for the kids to have their ice cream in. You can get waffles and all sorts. It's just a great place would definitely recommend a visit

A veritable Chorley institution. A Mecca for moreish old school Icecream with a range that keeps you coming back for more. I’ve abandoned hope of ever trying ALL the flavours as they just seem to have an infinite variety.

Excellent customer service at a very busy time when we arrived. The range of ice-cream flavours was very extensive. I have never seen such a large selection before. The flavour of the ice-cream was good and the texture was rich and smooth. Well worth a visit!

Have been coming here over 20 years even though it takes me nearly an hour to get to. That's testimony to just how great it is, great service and great ice creams. Never fails to disappoint 😍

Decided to treat ourselves before a long drive. The little kid cups are cute and a perfect size for a younger child. Got. Our dog got the dog ice cream to make taking his medication easier. He loved it. Wasnt happy at the empty tub 😂
