Tourist attraction State park

👍 My friend and I jokingly renamed the park as Lily Pad Park and Lake of the Lilies because well…that’s all that you’ll see on the water these days! An occasional crane or a few ducks and geese. My family loves to kayak here (beginners and it’s easier on steady water when you’re new) and it makes it n... People often mention lake, park,

The park is open and kids can play on the play ground. The park was beautiful. It's a great fishing spot with little areas cleared to throw a line out. There is also a dock to fish near. The walking/bike path was clean and clear. Many great little areas to sit on benches, and tables with a pavilion. Also a great frisbee golf course.

My friend and I jokingly renamed the park as Lily Pad Park and Lake of the Lilies because well…that’s all that you’ll see on the water these days! An occasional crane or a few ducks and geese. My family loves to kayak here (beginners and it’s easier on steady water when you’re new) and it makes it nearly impossible to navigate the waters with it being heavily polluted by the lily pads. While they’re annoying, it makes for some excellent photos and when they’re in full bloom, it’s magnificent! It’s a small lake and park, but for us locals…it’s home. We grew up here and for a lot of us, it’ll always hold a special place in our hearts. Adding a couple of photos I’ve taken myself of the lily pads. If you open your heart and mind, you’ll find beauty in everything.

I try to walk my dog there every day. It's a nice walk with a nice paved trail along the lake.

Beautiful early morning pictures of the lake, Monday the 19th after the first snow fall of 2023,24 winter season. One of the most peaceful places on earth. Just sit and take it all in, the sounds, smells, and mother nature in general 😁

Small state park. The lake although small is scenic. Not many amenities but I did see a some playground equipment, shelter house, restroom and a paved path along one side of the lake.

Great place. Has a frisbee golf playgrounds for kids younger aged and middle school aged kids. The chipped up rubber spread on the ground around the playgrounds makes for nice cushioning so no tripped falls hurt! Nice place overall. Has big swings that even adults can enjoy. Couple spots for cooking out and picnic. A small boat dock for canoes and such. An overflow dam. Nice for fishing. Does have restroom/port a potty,

Lot of open area, a lake and a quiet place. Its a very nice place to visit but not a lot to do except grill or Frisby golf. I believe you can fish there but not 100% sure. Great place for bbqs and outdoor things like throwing a football or baseball. It is a beautiful place to visit and photograph. Lots of ducks, swans, frogs and wildlife to see. No garbage cans are there so be sure to bring a bag. I didn't see a bathroom or garbage cans and we walked 90% of the park. It was nicely mowed and has some swings and playground equipment. The bbq grills are also provided near the shelter houses with picnic tables. Have fun!!!

Beautiful day. Plenty of lake wildlife around every time we come to see the turtles.
