👍👍 WOW!!!!!!! We learned this is the SECOND LARGEST MOUND in the USA. The SIZE IS WOW!!!! The road driving to the mound has alot of pot holes and in poor repair. Need a SIGN NOTICEABLE from the Natchez Trace Parkway to help driver's turn onto correct road.

👍👍 Once we found the visitor center and got a map we were able to navigate this place much better. The hike we went on was stunning and we were the only ones on the trail! I loved it here and our family will for sure be back to hike more trails!!! Such a hidden gem.

👍👍 There are three lakes here that you can fish from. Trails to the Platte river you can walk/bike all over. Doggos are welcome. There are bathrooms. There are a couple docks and a gazebo area. There are also some benches near the lakes.

👍👍 If you like biking and walking this trail is awesome! It’s paved and very wide, and runs for miles it seems. Very peaceful and great scenery - highly recommend this area to explore! The trail was even cleared of snow in February and we saw five Bald Eagles and their nest!
