I
ordered
a
takeout
just
before
9am
on
Tuesday
March

and
anticipated
a
wonderful
experience.
The
order
was
placed
via
the
phone
and
I
confirmed
that
my
debit
or
ATM
card
could
be
used
to
complete
payment
for
the
order.
About
45
to
50
minutes
later,
the
order
arrived
and
I
proceeded
to
make
payment
and
here
is
where
the
red
flags
started
waving
furiously.

🚩
The
delivery
man
punched
in
the
amount
and
I
typed
in
my
details,
however
as
time
elapsed,
I
figured
that
since
the
POS
machine
failed
to
print,
that
the
transaction
did
not
go
through.
Here,
the
weird
things
start
-
Mr
Delivery
man,
if
it
has
not
gone
through,
can
I
have
my
card?
He
then
says,
I'm
trying
to
process
it
again,
all
this
while
with
my
debit
card
still
stuck
inside
the
POS
machine.

all

I
say
well
when
I
made
the
order
I
was
assured
that
I
could
pay
with
via
a
POS.

I
asked
what
other
means
I
could
use
to
pay,
and
right
away
he
said
cash.
I
always
expect
despatch
to
give
an
option
of
transfer
due
to
change
issues
and
to
demonstrate
flexibility
however
considering
how
tricky
bank
transfers
could
be,
I
obliged
&
gave
him
cash
of
N2,200
(two
one
thousand
Naira
notes
and
a
single
two
hundred
Naira
notes).
My
order
was
N2,100
and
I
demanded
my
change
of
N100,
he
said
he
did
not
have
N100
change.
I
thought
to
give
him
N2,000
&
withhold
the
N200
till
he
could
bring
me
my
change,
however
on
second
thoughts,
considering
that
the
vendor
location
was
not
far
from
the
point
of
delivery,
I
asked
him
to
deliver
the
change
of
N100
later
in
the
day.
It
is
over
24
hours
and
Mr
Delivery
has
not
dropped
my
change.
The
experience
with
the
delivery
man
skewed
my
bias
for
Boleboxx
despite
the
well
seasoned,
well
marinated
fish,
sumptuous
&
finger
licking
sauce
and
hard
roasted
plantain,
ruined
the
otherwise
delicious
meal.
