Lovely food. Health and filling. I had the grilled catfish and bole and it was just perfect. I will be back for more. I recommend boleboxx for your PH style bole and fish in Lagos. You should also try there catfish pepper soup

I ordered a takeout just before 9am on Tuesday March 17 and anticipated a wonderful experience. The order was placed via the phone and I confirmed that my debit or ATM card could be used to complete payment for the order. About 45 to 50 minutes later, the order arrived and I proceeded to make payment and here is where the red flags started waving furiously. Flag 1 🚩 The delivery man punched in the amount and I typed in my details, however as time elapsed, I figured that since the POS machine failed to print, that the transaction did not go through. Here, the weird things start - Mr Delivery man, if it has not gone through, can I have my card? He then says, I'm trying to process it again, all this while with my debit card still stuck inside the POS machine. Flag 2 🚩 Mr Delivery claims this is why I don't like XXXXX Bank ATM card & all these POS, e no dey go. I say well when I made the order I was assured that I could pay with via a POS. Flag 3 🚩 I asked what other means I could use to pay, and right away he said cash. I always expect despatch to give an option of transfer due to change issues and to demonstrate flexibility however considering how tricky bank transfers could be, I obliged & gave him cash of N2,200 (two one thousand Naira notes and a single two hundred Naira notes). My order was N2,100 and I demanded my change of N100, he said he did not have N100 change. I thought to give him N2,000 & withhold the N200 till he could bring me my change, however on second thoughts, considering that the vendor location was not far from the point of delivery, I asked him to deliver the change of N100 later in the day. It is over 24 hours and Mr Delivery has not dropped my change. The experience with the delivery man skewed my bias for Boleboxx despite the well seasoned, well marinated fish, sumptuous & finger licking sauce and hard roasted plantain, ruined the otherwise delicious meal.

A quick search on IG brought them up. Hadn’t tried them before but went out on a limb and ordered. Delivery did take a bit of time but it was totally worth the wait!!! Kai! I devoured the serving in seconds. It was neatly packaged and delivered without any oil spills or messy wrapping. As a true south south indigene, I endorse their fare! Finish work!!! Will definitely be reordering. Well done.

WOW!!! Absolutely incredible and amazing food. Boleboxx is one of those rare food companies that make ordering food taste even better than what you could make at home! For my Mum (who is the pickiest food critic, lol 😆), to admit that the food is better than she could make herself says a lot!!! So they've definitely got a long term customer here. Absolutely fantastic food, amazingly made and 1,000% on point, truly excellent in every way!!!

I bless the day I found your page on Instagram 😁it took me time to actually order because I was skeptical if the sauce will taste as good as the one in PH. I Finally summoned courage to order and I loved every bit of it. The Sauce was so tasty and juicy. The fish , yam and potatoes was nicely roasted 🙌🏽. Keep up the good work.you guys rocks ❤️

Ordered the platter ibiwari for my parents on Valentine’s Day, they loved it! They were also surprised about the size of the meal, apparently it was a lot of food! Well done BoleBoxx, I can’t wait to personally try your food one day when I come to Lagos.
